I like the mid tones boost of the toon trax plug in sounds, the rolled off highest sounds better to my ears also. the microphone simulation would be great to hear in a band mix. that's a powerful set up you got going.
Does anyone know - I’m kind of a newbie with tracking my guitar. I hear Nina explain here she’s going guitar > interface > preamp > kemper > pc noting that I am able to omit the preamp when recording with my kemper. Why the preamp? Is this cleaning up or boosting the signal chain? Just curious if someone could kindly educate me.

This Person is a well known awesome musician and i am a nobody so f it but it was interesting to see those things. Thanks for sharing :) The one important thing is probably you gotta use what you have and what gets you going in a kreative manner so you keep moving forward.
