I just recently purchased my Hero S8 & think it’s a F***n awesome scooter in my opinion. Quality build & Not having to worry about punctures is the best. Gets up and goes quick even in gear 2. Runs beautiful on the flat & can cut through a bit of dirt & grass no worries, let the shocks do there job. Here to support & recommend the hero brand. Love from Sydney, Aus 🤙🏽 🛴

Do you have any knowledge how to properly test an incline grade on a scooter? You don't start at the bottom of the hill when torque is at the lowest. It's like taking a drill and mixing cement; throw it all in to the top and start the drill, it won't turn.. I suggest that you get some knowledge about these things if you do this for a living. I personally own this scooter since it came out and have hundreds of kilometers on it and no issues. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but not the way you made it sound. It seems like you were payed to kill the Hero brand by competitors. It's not designed for off roading, read what it's designed for, it's an all terrain scooter. There are hundreds of scooters with air tires, S8 is not another air tire for a reason. I don't need a flat 20 kilometers away from home. I don't agree with your review. Even about the handlebar: if it slides down, tighten it dude. Who sells it for $1,400?

Very good and complet and honest review. But I m disappointed now because I would like to buy this but now... I have an e twow monster 36v 14 ah since 2 years with 6000 km ( I use it during the winter, under the rain) but now I want a new escooter with more speed (real 45 or 50 km/h) and power to climb up some hill, a solid tire or a good tire (no time to repair it when I go to my job), a compact and light scooter ( I m a busdriver so I need to have my escooter with me in my cabine.) Do you have an advice ? When will you review the dualtron mini ? (Hello from France)

I watched a few other videos of the s8 review and no one has posted a review describing the s8 in this kind of way. I also watched a few customer videos and no one made it sound like your video. Then I watched a few of your other videos and of course if you test very expensive scooters and compare them all equally by ride quality then yea you will hate on all cheaper scooters. What other solid tire scooter have you tested that is way better than this one? Some people buy solid not to have flats. I've owned an etwow and it's a solid tire and it's a great ride. My friend had 3 flats in a few months on his air tire scooter. I will keep looking for more reviews on this scooter

I own one for about two months now and this thing is fast , no hills problems , well build and their customer service is very reliable and on point.

Clearly, the free scooter didn't influence the review. They may make you send it back after that review! I have an E-TWOW with solid tires and while not a smooth ride, it's entirely tolerable. And the drum brake in the rear rarely requires adjustment and modulates quite well. I'd gladly sacrifice a little stopping power on the drum brake for the lower maintenance that comes along with it.
You get a like for the video, but I've seen enough of this scooter. I wouldn't want it even if it were IP68.

The wiring is shockingly bad and the holes in the top of the deck allows water to flow into the poorly sealed electrics. Brake cable gets in the way of steering. Rattling and loose bolts, fenders don’t work. Overall a good battery with great range in a very badly built copy (rip off) of the dualtron mini.
