You’re ridiculous. He dealt with it and it’s better to try and tell your way out of the situation before resorting to smashing the guy. It’s pretty easy to tell he wasn’t actually a real threat so beating the sht out of him immediately would’ve been dumb. He was a barrier between the drunk dude and his family and the kids would’ve been way more scared and traumatized if the dad destroyed him without trying to resolve it first.

Coach is a real man. He tried to avoid a confrontation and had all the reasons to be angry. He kept telling him to leave. Huge respect for the guy. He knew the other lad was drunk and didn’t take advantage of it to knock him out instantly. He kept giving him the chance to walk out

I feel for coach, he tried so hard to reason with a man that already overstepped boundries on many levels, he didn't want to do that infront of them, I just hope they realize that and that it came to a point of necessary, now imagine if coach wasn't a nice guy at all, some would cave his head in. I came up against my share of phony tough guys over the course of my 30 yrs (retired in ‘97). Almost all of them never went beyond being a loudmouth when it came time to go in cuffs. I got very good at reading who the real toughs were, and I can count them on one hand with fingers to spare.
