hot take, imo fast track is one of the most underrated perks. Sure, you dont get much value out of it if nobody gets hooked but it's such a good way to turn the tides when gen progress is tight and the pressure is on
The big problem with it is that it basically can't get great skill checks all match. I think if it would be a little bit better if it was nerfed a bit but could be activated with the action button. But if you don't often use perks like fogwise or stakeout, I'm sure it's a pretty useful option.
It's really not that good. 3% of a single generator is nowhere near an equal trade for a hook state, nevermind the inconsistency of needing to hit a great skill check. It's an interesting design, sure, but it's not worth the hassle. Basically any other gen speed perk is objectively better--the only exception may be Hyperfocus, but ONLY when looking at the perk alone.
Despite that seeming extremely strong it’s difficult to pull off. Potential energy has a massive risk for massive reward. But it was used to it’s peak potential here
Really? This guy is basically running a meme build. What exactly is so oppressive and exploitative that the killer needs to resort to camping and tunneling? Get outplayed often by that Calm Spirit value? Or the perk that slowed his gen progess and would have lost him half a minute worth of repair time if he takes a hit? or the one that was only at half strength because it only works if the killer actually gets hooks?
He had 12 fast track tokens, once he hit a great skill check, each token gave 1% progression, total of 12% extra progression plus the regular skill check bonus. Then he also used the Perk Potential energy, where he previously charged it for 20 seconds while working on another generator, and then applying those 20 seconds of work onto this generator. So the 2 perks added 32% progression at once, and he also had a yellow toolbox and a teammate for faster repair
this only looks imba because the video doesn't show the minimum 30 seconds of work required to get that instant 32% progression and the fact that getting hit by the killer once would totally erase much of that instant progression. like how all those "i ran the killer for 5 gens" videos don't show the two dozen games where the player went down in ten seconds

Survivors when I play killer:
add in a brand new part for an extra 10% I think the BNP skill check counts as a great
I wonder why Killers camp and tunnel
cry more

Actually crazy that you’re complaing about Potential Energy and Fast Track 💀
If you think this is bad and you play killer you must be trash frrr
how does it work?
Fast track and potential energy
He had 12 fast track tokens, once he hit a great skill check, each token gave 1% progression, total of 12% extra progression plus the regular skill check bonus.
Then he also used the Perk Potential energy, where he previously charged it for 20 seconds while working on another generator, and then applying those 20 seconds of work onto this generator.

"balance"
It is balanced. Potential energy basically wasted 10% of gen progress and fast track is overall pretty meh perk
I get the game is survivor sided but that doesn't mean every damn thing is unbalanced. Come on, man.
Shhhh don't complain, they're gonna nerf the pig again
