Top of his game here. I've seen him MANY times in the 80s forward. Only one big disappointment when he was drunk one time and played only like 35 minutes. I was a teen and had front row seats. I saved money to buy those tickets and was pretty pissed. Otherwise, always loved his shows.
He is too political for one. Last time I saw him was 89. When he played country boy can survive to a rap beat a quarter of the crowd left. Then he cursed them out and about half of the people left. I first saw him in 79. Saw him 5 times over the next 10 years and he got worse with every show.
he done a concert at a place called big reds in Johnson city tennessee. and my dad went on stage and drunk a shot of him beam with hank in the mid 1980s
De Fault That is really neat! I have another question, after what you have recorded, did you get to record the rest of the concert? If not, what happened?
@@danielsmit11 not sure why I thought this thought 3 years ago....now I’m sitting here thinking “why would I think that” maybe I mistyped, not really sure now haha yes this totally looks around 87.

Before the baby boomers precious little brats started social media and a man had a backbone, now u got sleepy Joe at the wheel
Literally what does that have to do with an 80s Hank Jr concert, what are you even talking about.
Are you sure this 87? This looks more like late 90s
Clayton Neblett yep that's the date
@@terryfaust4048 Trade ????
Nope it was 87. He did the same show in 87 at the Missouri State fair. It was on the heals of his born to boogie album.
