- This journey was from Peren to Maram then Imphal via Dzoku bridge (Barak river) .This route was through NH 129 A connecting Dimpapur with Maram via Peren District.The scenery was so beautiful and experienced so many Zeliangrong people who are Naga Tribes.The major villages i crossed through this route was Tamphung village, Ziumi Village,Yangkhunou village,Zenamai village,Bendramai Village,Yangkhullen Village, Kenelu Village,Pumdunlong,kamalong,wilong khullen,sangkungmai village,newmagaimai .Then i reached maram .Then i proceed towards imphal and reached imphal youth hostel in night.

That's Teifuiki river, the river which flows out of Dzükou valley. Barak is on the other side of Kohima-Imphal highway. 😁

I searched in the google map which showed it as barak river which originated from Manipur flows through the border.Any way thanks for the information .No where it is showing that tepuiki river .Thanks for the new information

But it was nice and enjoyed some place I even fell down due to the condition of road ....But it was a memorable journey .You can even go to Tamenglong from there

What Imphal valley? It's Barak valley
Imphal Valley is a marvellous oval shaped canyon formed as a result of drainage of many small rivers that origin from neighbouring hills. The water in the valley is fetched from several rivers, such as River Imphal, Iril, Thoubal, Khuga and Sekmai.

In comment box most of the natives says that the river name is tepuiki but I haven't seen any official record of that in indian geography.Any way you might be correct because Ganga is also have some names like GANGAJI GANGA MATHA.But that river i mentioned as Barak is not correct and that river is a tributary of Barak.Even in Google map the name of the river is not mentioned .It shows that it is a rural area with less settlement and carnival village is located near to this river.Any one from.carnival village
