- Terry Audio CEQ is a 5U 6-band mix/mastering EQ offering a combination of cherry-picked passive and active circuits to create one of the most highly specified and creative EQ processors currently available.
CEQ is an inductor-based equalizer using inductor design faithful to the classic Western Electric era with additional Pultec passive resonant shelves and Neumann PEV lacquer/vinyl cutting EQ boost. An innovative active/passive circuit for the sixth mid-range band controls frequency cut and “sonic reactivity”.
Terry Audio CEQ takes the best elements from each EQ type and removes unnecessary line amplifiers and transformer colouration, resulting in lower distortion and a wider soundstage for mixers and mastering engineers.
In addition, the CEQ boasts an innovative Shift control which engages a second set of filters in the LF bands, offering dramatic shifts in tonality and soundstage.

I got one. I might get it tatted on my arm how much I love this EQ.
calm down a bit, bro.
haha it is very beautiful
That’s very nice
ooooo, I'm waiting very soon
This thing is so fun
Yes, it's a really gratifying processor to use - sounds great across a broad range of settings on any particular source 👍
Had my eye on these for awhile. I'm sure those who have it get used to the workflow after some time--but if I ever get one I'm definitely going to have them laser engrave the faceplate with all the frequency and gain numbers and labels---exactly the way they have it on the right side of this video. Lol.
It's certainly unusual! The idea is to rely on your ears but for folks who like to know the numbers - or if you're just getting familiar with the unit - there's a recall sheet available with all the frequency notches... tinyurl.com/5xfkazvu 👍
@@kmraudio For the low cut knobs (lower left corner), I'm assuming the right knob changes the cut frequency, but does the left knob increase the slope of the filter? Just looked at the manual and its not clear.
Waiting time on these?
Currently early December for new orders...
@@kmraudio ah you mean a Christmas deal? :-) Are non stepped available?
good but o prefer a chandler curve bender!
This thing is much better than the Chandler, trust me, I've had both and got rid of my CB.
@@MrDddrrrggg thats a matter of taste buddy
@@RAWREALDEAL Always a matter of taste, just expressing my opinion. Both coloured units, but the CEQ sound better to me, it also has so many options for different sonic stamps. Clear winner imo.
