Things you should keep in mind while watching the performance:-
1. Moonbyul was supposed to be vocalist but she had to become a rapper.
2. They came from a very small company which means that the training system of the company was not like other companies like jyp,sm etc.
3. They sang in english in some parts which is not their language but still they didn't sound weird or awkward in english.
4. They were rookies at that time.
5. They even did choreography in some parts , imagine they didn't even had time to breathe properly.
plus: Hwasa once said that she went to audition at company and they said that she sings good but her body is fat (smth like that if I am wrong then please correct me).Well that person lost a precious gem because of a stupid standard.
Funny how they thought she was fat but now she is not only known as a fatal queen but is also iconic. What a big slap to those who said so.

I think them being from a small company was part of the reason they were on this show right? To get out there and get noticed? I know because they were the first group from their company their debut was really not like others, they performed on the street and in bars in clubs. Their CEO was criticized for recruiting them because they didn’t fit the typical Korean beauty standard and I believe their ceo warned MMM that they really needed to be a group that focused on vocals bc no one was going to look at them a second time based on looks; they had to catch attentions with their voices

I'm watching this again after a few years, and I still can't get over how superior their voices were among most other girl groups at that time. Very few of them could sing multi-part harmony. Very few of them could show strong voices from all members of the group, and I can hear all four could wail at the same time. Who could do that back then ?
I noted that in recent video collaboration with JYP, Moonbyul didn't seem to like wearing a short dress yet here she was 4+ years ago being OK with it. How things change :-)

Listening to other girl groups vocal and raps was already a normal for me for their notes and raps and when I heard mamamoo singing its like are they really idols? How come can someone sing with a stable and live voice while danciing? For me I already saw a girl group that is harmonous and unique than the others. Im regretting the fact that why am I stanning them just now? Their vocals is so stable and the rap was absolutely amazing. A unique rapper for a girl group. They were on a TV show with GFriend as example of Beagle-dols. It was just cruel to GFriend! They were so...normal...as Mamamoo bounced off the walls yapping with joy. No one--the crew, GFriend, even the hosts--had any idea of what to do with them!
