He may not have sight but his insight is impeccable. For years I have called out Buabeng Asamoah's sub par communication prowess and I am even convinced that his lackluster tenure as Communications Director of the NPP contributed directly to the party's reduced votes in 2020 relative to 2016. Thanks to him the likes of Sammy Gyamfi had a field day in the run up to the elections. The main question i wish you had asked the historian is if the NPP has a better chance of winning the National or General Election against Mahama with Bawumia or Ken ? who is the better person to lead the charge against Mahama. Am worried Bawumia will send the party to oposition against Mahama due to the current state of affairs in the country so the people pushing the VP should do hard long reflection and no doubt the President in a way has made things a bit difficult for Bawumia to win a General election in Ghana.

Is about the feedback from the ordinary Ghanaians on the streets going through hardships and realizing that this government is equally corrupt as the NDC and to make it worse putting a person who is more of the source or brain behind the economic woes in the country against Mahama is more of a suicide mission cos the Ghanaian people don't have short-term memory. People are getting wise and you can't buy them with money anymore, they will take the money and vote against you. If you put Mahama and Bawumia up for an election today massa Mahama's chances of winning is high.
