Just for the future: *the link sword + damage right after* is the easiest way to take away all your powerups. The link sword overrides all powerups, and it only takes 1 hit to get small. This is used in a ton of troll levels to make sure you are small.

It’s a weird set up, I believe the mushroom comes from a falling block that was activated, the block crushes the old power up and the mushroom comes out right in its place I may not even be correct

All the other power ups turn you into Super Mario and require you to get an extra damage hit after your I-Frames to turn into small Mario. The only two power ups that reduce you to small Mario are the Super Mushroom and the Link Sword. The mushroom doesn’t do anything if you have a Fire Flower or something, but the Link Sword does. Also, the Super Mushroom moves around so it’s harder to contain, unlike the Master Sword which stays in its place.
The power-up switch puts a launcher into a clown car below the screen once you scroll it off the screen. When you hit the switch, a block crushes the super mario land flower, and a launcher shoots the SMB2 mushroom into its place.

There's a bit of genius in this level almost no one notices. 18:49 when entering this room, there is a hint in ice blocks saying to bring the superball powerup. When you go to the right to get the smb2 mush, a setup inserts an smb2 mush into those ice blocks, changing the hint. I wish it were more obvious, because it deserves the attention. It isnt the first time it's been done, but it is the first its been donr this way and so well.

I think the last pipe would have taken you to the pipe you can see when you get the goalpost, if you then would go back through the pipe you couldn’t get to the endpole and the boo is there so you can die...

You gather your courage, get ready for the blue pipe, you're almost about to touch the blue pipe, you feel the blue pipe, your heart starts beating faster as you get closer to the blue pipe. You land on the blue platform that's meant to make your wishes come true and take you to the blue pipe. The blue pipe is there. Just beneath you and then... you get a fish to the face 14:13

If you hold a powerup and connect a mushroom, it switches when you get a power up!
