- Yo it's Mat4yo! This is my video recap of Nerdcore Party Con (NPC) 2023 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Cam Steady and I performed the Pokemon Trainer Rap Cypher for a crowd of over 1,000 people!
The following day, our song started playing during the meet and greet and we had an impromptu encore! I only included certain parts in this video for the sake of brevity and clean language.

Man I wish I knew the lineup so I could get all the songs last year when NPC hit Chicago they posted it live so even though I wasn't there I was able to get a bunch of really cool music

It was really awesome crossing paths wth you again bro. It's been so long. You really killed your performance during the Trainer Cypher both on the video and on stage and it was hype being a part of jamming to the whole thing when it came on during the day of the meet and greet!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, meeting you, Cam, and Kevin was a huge honor, honestly my favorite moment(s) of the entire event. I'll never forget our conversation, it reminded me why I started making nerdcore music and pushing myself further beyond my limits at every opportunity. If not for y'all, I'd prob be working at McDonalds not knowing what I want to do with my life. Y'all legit changed my life, and I could write an entire essay bout our conversation alone. My only regret is that I didn't show you my music, but I was over the moon meeting my idols so showing off my work wasn't really on my mind at the time. I look forward to seeing you again in the future, whether it be at next year's NPC or some other event, and I promise you I am working my ass off to make sure you're blown away by what I do musically at this time next year. In your words, the man we're fearing is the man in the mirror, and I am working to conquer him.🙏♥

I'd love to go to one of the NPCs, hopefully next year i can make it out if its not too far from me. As someone with a little social anxiety, the idea of getting to speak with you guys is a little nerve racking, but the idea is sick none the less. I watched the live stream and man, it was a jam!! Constantly surprised by all the features that kept appearing, especially Mat4yo! (Super stoked by your performance!)
