New EU fingerprint travel rules due to start in October | BBC News

  • Preparations are under way at major Channel crossing points for a new automated European Union (EU) border IT system due to start this October, despite fears of queue chaos for holidaymakers.
Under the Entry Exit System (EES) non-EU nationals, including Brits, will have to register biometric information the first time they cross the border.
This has prompted concerns there might be huge delays as a result.
But tens of millions of pounds are being spent on equipment and processing areas at Dover’s ferry port, Eurostar’s London St Pancras terminus and Eurotunnel’s Folkestone site.

This isn't even about Brexit, this is biometric harvesting for everyone globally. Even if the UK stayed in the EU I'm sure if they haven't already will harvest all of their citizens biometrics. I'm fine with this if you've been placed into the criminal system due to you performing a criminal act, just like they do here in the UK & many other places. I'm a bit shocked that the USA already have this system in place but I'm just not for it.
Do not be fooled the UK will soon set up a similar system & then eventually require all citizens to give their biometrics to them fir their database or we'll face potential fines & prison time for it being classified as a new form of criminality. Romans 6.23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
      2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

As much as I would love that, I think Keir might be too useless to do anything at all Which should hopefully mean at least 4 years of peace and not having all of our lives ruined personally, I would rather have a leader who does absolutely nothing and whatever the hell we have now.

Keir cannot fix this, it is part of being outside the EU. He will not rejoin as many in his base and new base still extremely oppose the EU. The UK just has to deal with the mercy of the EU when moving people and things across borders.

Well, Britian should do the same then to European visitors!
UK does let European enders UK like UK citizens, but when UK citizen go to Europe after brexit, they face a long queue as they have to stand with all other passport's holder .
This world is built on reciprocity.
