I was so confused this morning with bleary eyes: I thought you named this new song "Worcestershire", as in the sauce 😅 Beautiful track though, loving that Shepard's tone sound in the background!
The bank had been reduced to a crystal husk, with tiles strewn about below sunken windows reflecting fake moons. Where the ceiling used to be, there was now nothing but a golden sky, with such a rich shine that the grand pillars around him seemed to be trees in a vast forest. It was where he had been staying for a while. Studying the broken and bloodied chandeliers, making sketches in the surface of the pond. Outside, the children were playing. If he stared at them for too long, he felt his throat caving in from the weight of his eyes and broken mouth, so they remained just slightly out of his vision forever. On Friday, he watched a movie while scrubbing the old coins. He wondered what in the old world could have possibly been worth buying, and scrubbed a bit of paint off one of the chandeliers.

Many days passed, perhaps weeks; the hands of the cuckoo clock had stopped, and I had no control over the notion of time. The town is empty now, my dearest Love. Where once were made words of bond are left echoes of broken promises. The old magicks that rained tiny blessings are now naught but an abundance of curses. Curses which you, Alessa, have brought upon us like pain was brought upon your flesh. In sirens' wails, so are our cries drowned. In mirrors broken, so do our reflections cease. In fog unending, so are our wanderings endless. On rust so red, so does our blood flow. Justice has found us all, Alessa, for what was done to you. Perhaps in our tears, you may find the peace that was robbed from you so rudely. And in the eternal misery of our minds, may we find respite in your mercy. For you are God now, and You have damned us all. The town is empty now, my dearest Love.
That's a lovely scene to compliment the music. Really like how there's a kind of shift as the trees are blowing in the wind, leaving behind a sort of echo. Makes me think of parallel Universes and how time is relative. And what does 'Weltvergessenheit ' mean? 🤔 The description made me think of those words in a slightly different way - "Wherever you go, there is a graveyard"... Time stops for no one. My dark humour kicking in again 😅😝
