Sadly because of copywriting it will never be seen on any console ever again, just so sad, it looks a great game but i've never played it even though i knew about it but i'd of needed a fight stick as i can't play on pad.
@@johna6602 I've only played it on the Dolphin emulator on my old laptop. There have been times where I just want to cave in and buy a used copy for my Wii U, but I moved on to current gen consoles. Especially my Switch. I'm still hopeful for a re-release of TvC though.
@@TheObserver85, I know my friend who buys and sells stuff has a copy of Tatsunoko vs Capcom, I may buy it as I have still have a Wii in the cupboard, and maybe I can play it on the Wii game pad as its just a 4 button set up, I don't know, I'm so used to fight sticks. I have heard that the Wii is a great machine for emulation and pretty easy to soft mod, is that what you are meaning with the Dolphin emulator? (I think you said dolphin emulator, I can't quite see the rest of your comment while writing on my phone)
@@johna6602 I was considering soft modding my Wii(still have one in storage) to play GameCube and Wii games. Never got to play TvC on Wii, just on PC using the Dolphin emulator. Reason being, because I believe that's the only way you can play TvC online? I may be wrong though? And this was a few years back too.
@@TheObserver85, yes apparently if you have a PC the Wii is easy to soft mod then you have mainly a huge library of Nintendo games from yonder years that you likely missed or always wanted to play. I'm currently trying to get my OG Xbox and my Wii soft modded as they are the consoles for playing games of yonder. The You Tube channel Modern Vintage Gamer, or MVG did a great video about each console and why you should soft mod them now they are obsolete tech. Definitely worth checking his channel out.
Apparently this will never ever see a re-release as the Tatsunoko characters have heavy copywriting, sadly. EDIT; and yes it's such a great game this has been a great watch, everything about this game seems awesome! Music is great also, music is such a big part of a good game.
Yeah, if you set up Dolphin to use performance Hacks and preload all textures before the game starts, it runs very smoothly (Source: me getting it to run at 60fps on an old office computer from 10 years ago)
This game needs to be re-released. Would definitely buy it for Switch so I can play anytime.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom looks amazing graphically here. Are y'all running it on Steam or Dolphin?

Gay voice literally ruins this entire thing
