Both of Scott’s parents died within weeks of each and it devastated him. They are the only family he has and it’s very kind of Kris to consider that.
I can totally understand that the Kardashian family is the only family he feels he has, but this clip is a great example of “you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar”.
They don’t owe him anything, other than access to his kids. If he wants to have a friendship with any of them now, he has to earn it by treating them with respect. Maybe instead of getting upset at Kendal for not inviting him, he should have respected that him being there wasn’t fair to Kourtney, and sent Kendal a gift/some birthday flowers to honour her day.
He’s pushing them away further by acting like this. And all things considered, Kourtney is actually pretty nice about the whole him hanging around thing considering how he treated her 😬

It didnt even seem like Kris was downplaying it, it seemed more like she didnt even realize that Kendall did a dinner. The problem is that they were all up in Kourts business and formed bonds with Scott. When Kourtney didn't want to invite him to things they would defend him. Him and Kendall or Khloe were very good friends. Basically, they gave him the impression that hes family / their best friend and now he expects to be treated as such.

The reality is Scott has known and been a part of this family for so long. He has built relationships with everyone in the family and just like any relationship there will be ups and downs. These people are his children’s relatives, but at one point perhaps it’s time Scott realizes that he doesn’t have to continue keeping a relationship with them and move on. 🤷🏻
