Later models and DB engines had a different cooling system so the ring shape tank was an oil tank.

That's correct. That is a DB601D engine in a G variant. In that engine the ring tank was an oil tank.

What are those pipes you use for the sparkplugs
Hi, I use copper or alloy tubes for my builds. For the spark plugs I cut 0.3mm alloy tubes, the cables were 0.1mm copper wires.

Yes, but I'm pretty sure that you can buy them from an online webshop as well.
I like to use Albion Alloys products. Not cheap for sure but the best of its kind.
