Some of our dearest family friends from my childhood are in a brownstone on this street. So many years of meaningful memories. Promenade is also amazing for watching NYC fireworks
Great scene on this street from the classic film, 'Midnight Run', especially were Robert De Niro first enters the street with the view of the Manhatten in the background. Next time I vist New York, I'm hoping I get a chance to walk down this beautiful street.
Wished you'd hold the camera horizontally, just sayin'. When my wife and I were dating, she lived off Henry, spitting distance to Montague Street. Were some swell eateries in late 1970's there. Simons Sandwich Shop, Aesop's Fables, Capulets on Montague, Circles Café and J. B. Callahan's (on Remsen Street). Promenade views were awesome. A Heineken, joint and cute chick made it boss. Thanks for the tour.

Went to college on Remsen St. decades ago. Never found a better neighborhood in NYC.
