During the video, i am on the edge on my seat, "holy shit, there's going to be a chisel going through his hand".
Seriously, that was quite hazardous.
Once the "beater" comes out, it becomes personal.
Looks like they are on to you, Bill.
I first bought a couple of these after watching the video, cause here in Dominican Republic there ain't much people with picking skills that do burglary and it takes a lot of noise to open up one of these as you did it. Nevertheless I tried with just a regular tension bar and a hook and they pick open quite easily to my surprise 😲
Completely expected a pause in the video and a return with the "unboxing" of your new 12 stitches.
Looks like a good lock
I think your shed would have been ok with this one.
it isn't Chinese!
Hermex means "Herramientas Mexicanas"mexican tools. I have the same one.
Definitely think the lock won this time
It is not Chinese.
I have the same one.
Hermex means "Herramientas Mexicanas" Mexican tools .
Yes that's true, even says hecho en México
Picks open in less than a minute with regular tensioner and hook
Clearly this lock was not the knockoff. Same design, but executed effectively.
Jeez Bill I was waiting on 1 of those Wile coyote moments with that chisel.
+cdubya22, 3 years later I was about to make the exact same comment :)
Well at least the one you were using is the one that gave you the most trouble! The previous one the ring bust in like half a second!
Nice! I learned something new today, love your videos, very informative.
Lmao I was gritting my teeth there lol great video!
EXCELENTES VIDEOS MUY ILUSTRATIVOS
so if i welding that weakness up this will be harder to pick.. am i right?
It's a poor workman who blames his tools.
looks like any shed would break before the sub par lock
Looks like the body started to give up the ghost at 5:05 when you spun it around. Is that a vacuum base vise? Moisten 1/4" of the edge of the diaphragm before mounting. If the surface is smooth enough, it will not move. Trick works also on windshield mounted Nav systems.
I have always wondered if SOBO or FJM padlocks are also vulnerable to this attack. Can you try it?
This one actually put up a fight :D
Makin’ ya earn that one!
Subtle as a train wreck.
So, wich lock do you recommend?
can you put the guts back and make the lock working again ? or is it busted ?
bro use a flat screwdriver
if your stealing hehehe youre caught
so, he opened this lock on a vise, if it was locked on a door, he would'nt have been able to open it, also, hermex is not chinese, it's mexican
I try to lock and unlock mys but i cant, if pull all the dics itll work again?
Not a chance.
You can break this lock with lock puller or shank very easy and fast.
I have seen a lot of locks like this and some of them you can pop with a screw driver. some are harder but I fount with a small pocket sized 1300c torch you can heat the thing up then pop it quickly. I have also recently seed a video wear a guy hade a $100 high secerity lock that the mfr clamed could was un pickable and un breakable and work take 10min to cut with a cutting torch and well he hit it with a hammer as it was hanging and it poped right open. I cant rember his name it was something with locktester secerity
Bill i learnt this trick to open the diac detainer challenge lock i sent you that says Mocha on it. I filed false gates in it for you to pick it.
I did manage to finally pick it (and left it open), but didn't want to screw it up by taking it apart. Your note saying "please re-assemble it before returning it" was a big red flag to me... I put both locks into the post to you about a week ago.
bosnianbill lol haha, well bill i took it apart and filed little false gates in the discs. I think if you zero the discs first then it is easier. If you just picked it from the normal position then you migjt find some crazy falseset like i did. Thanks. I am sorry that the post address did not work....it was wierd cause this was the first time is was not postable. Oh well...i had fun never the less seeing you nearly get whipped. But i think you would have picked it anyway.....if you used a longer tensioner like you did on the padlock with the split core.
Cheers. Btw i have a Masterlock bike lock with no keys that is a Ulock better than some other master lock bike locks you have featured. I can send it to you for picking and destruction as i am sure we can all learn more about it from the original Locklab than from it sitting there laughing at me.
Video brought to you by npc USA picks
watch your eye!! looks like the body was damaged from prying, look at the side
You just destroyed a good padlock.
"GOOD"?
honesty this is best than all the other padlocks in my local hardware stores lol. Hard to get good lock here in bosnia and herzegovina.
Hm, almost good
OMG! Get a decent vise
Hermex > Fuloy 😅
omg
没吃饭
whats the point of this video; entertaintment, perhaps?
The point of this video is to see how resistant the padlock is to an attack by force at its weakest physical point, this is done after picking the lock and see how convenient it is to buy that model...sooo it really is a test of resistance to being violated by thieves
@@alexvaltierracarpi whatever is being guarded? by this lock better be good seing all the work that it takes to brake it!
