  • I built a SaaS business in just 10 days without any coding experience and in this video, I share my journey of creating it, from idea to execution, and reveal the challenges I faced along the way.
    Micro SaaS has been generating a lot of buzz lately, and I wanted to see if it was a legitimate way to earn "passive" income. For those unfamiliar, micro SaaS involves developing a small software product with a single feature and launching it quickly to validate its market potential.
    Although my micro SaaS journey is just beginning, it’s been an invaluable learning experience. Join me as I explore the potential of micro SaaS, share insights, and provide transparent updates on my progress.
    If you’re curious about starting your own SaaS business or interested in entrepreneurship and tech, this video is for you. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to follow my journey. Your feedback is always welcome!

    Marc for ShipFast here 👋
    First, congrats for shipping fast :)
    Here's how I'd improve your landing page:
    - A clear demo of the product
    - A strong outcome (do coworking save money? time?)
    - A 5x more expensive pricing
    Congrats on making money too. I think it's worth digging that SaaS further!

    It's fun watching you enjoy the process, and I agree marketing and getting a paid customer is really hard at-least for technical people like me.

      Thank you! I think it is hard for everyone. In the end, we all need to practice and learn before we can become successful in anything. So, the most important thing is to never stop and keep improving. I wish you all the best!!

    I'm from India and my salary is $150 per month and my question is it possible make saas from low investment

    • @steffenj
      @steffenj  Před měsícem +1

      Hi! It is possible, but you will probably need more time because you will need to code everything yourself (or with the free versions of AI models). The Domain will then probably be your largest expense, as you can host your website for free with vercel (or other servicesas well maybe). Apparently, it gets more expensive if you scale, but that is only a problem if you gain traction, in which case you should have your first paying customers as well.
      The biggest challenge will be marketing, for which you can use a content marketing strategy. Just post on Twitter and share your journey. You can also post on CZcams or ProductHunt if you feel comfortable with that. The most important thing is to stay consistent and never stop trying. I also tried a lot of different things before something worked out (at least kind of :)
      Of course, this is a lot of work and everything, but easy. However, if you have the right idea / enough good ideas, you will succeed.
      Feel free to ask further questions if you have any. Either way, I wish you the best!

    Are you sure you had zero coding experience prior to this? You didnt even now what next.js is decided to use it to make product? And all this in 10 days? Seems very unbelievable.

    • @steffenj
      @steffenj  Před měsícem

      Hi, thank you for your comment! I guess I will take it as a compliment :)
      I have never coded in NextJS before and I only decided to use it for my app because I used ShipFast (which uses NextJS). I wasn't a complete rookie, because I worked with HTML and CSS a lot. I also had basic programming lessons in school 5 years ago and a strong interest in technical stuff.
      To be honest, I still can't really write code myself, but I am able to understand it and think of the logic behind the code. The actual coding was done by ChatGPT. I just told him exactly what I wanted, made small adjustments or told ChatGPT what I wanted to be changed.
      I hope that clarifies it. Have a great day!
