das ist das erste von 10 Tutorials, die ab jetzt jeden Donnerstag auf meinem Channel zu sehen sein werden. Ich hab versucht, sie nach Schwierigkeitsgrad zu sortieren. In diesem hier lernt ihr den noch relativ leichten Hop Walk. Schaut es euch an und seht, wer dabei ist. Viel Spaß!
Hi folks,
this is the first out of ten tutorials, which you’ll find here every Thursday for the next weeks. I’ve tried to sort them by their degree of difficulty. In this one you’ll learn the rather easy Hop Walk. Have a look at it and see who’s joining me.

For those who don't know which the most important points in the summary at 3:38 are ('Inara Couto' translated them for you):
aus einer Sprungbewegung = from a jumping motion
Rücken gerade, Arme ruhig = Back straight, arms still
Fersen hoch! = Heels high!

I'm not as fast a learner, but after an hour or so I managed to pull this off pretty easily. You move with such fluidity, though, and that's still a challenge for me. Thanks for uploading!
Out of all the guys I watched do this kind of dance, Sven is the most relaxed. Like he was born dancing!

As of a month ago you had four vids and their viewcounts were half or less of what they are now. Admittedly I account for 20+ views for each, just by myself, but i have also linked you to friends, family, and two IRC channels. You're the best I've seen. Now, a TV commercial and some tutorials.... clearly, lightning has struck. I'm glad it has.
It's too late for me - I will follow as best I can, but I'm 38 and for medical reasons two of my limbs don't work as well as they used to. But who can say, right? When there's a will, there's a way. And I've envied what you do since I first ran into your videos. Dance is the only major artform I have never yet dabbled in, so.... here's giving it a go! Wish me luck!

Super erklärt ! Vor allem die Tips am Ende sind sehr hilfreich und so schön übersichtlich ! Toll gemacht ! Habe mir vorgenommen, unbedingt alle Figuren so lange zu probieren, bis es klappt ! Mit so einem Lehrer habe ich da keine Bedenken!

I so enjoy watching you dance. It is just "free". I use to disco and tap dance when I was young. Now I'm pushing my 50s and want to get back into dancing. Think shuffle dance is my calling. Of course having bad knees might hinder this some. Only time will tell. Thank you for posting videos.

Wow. I've always felt too clumsy to dance but I managewd to learn and do this with hardly any issues. Respect to you, Sven, for offering free tutorials. I can repay the favour by repairing your dance footwear for free (I'm a shoe repairer of 35 years and have done footwear for a lot of big shows and famous people) but you'd have to ship them to England :D

I like this style of dance so much but there's no place teaching this kind of dance :c And thanks to SpiritScience for bringing me here a year ago. You're such an amazing dancer and I really admire your dance moves!! I will be practicing hard and dance like you one day (jk 50% is already enough for the clumsy me)

It’s not all about you 😉
Because many languages around the world are integrating English words into their vocabulary (such as "tutorial"), many technical terms are international (such as the names of dance moves, in this case "Hop Walk") and artists often chose English names to reach a wider audience. The title is not particularly in English when you break it down like this 😆
