- Jordan Donica performs “I Loved You Once in Silence,” from the new Broadway revival of the Lerner and Loewe musical "Camelot" at @LincolnCenterTheater. This video is part of Playbill's Spring Preview video series, sponsored by Cadillac.
“Camelot” is led by Tony winner Andrew Burnap (“The Inheritance”) as Arthur, Tony nominee Phillipa Soo (“Hamilton”) as Guenevere, and Jordan Donica (“My Fair Lady”) as Lancelot.
There are changes though. In this revival, it’s Lancelot who sings the classic love ballad “I Loved You Once in Silence” (it’s usually Guenevere).

You have a gorgeous voice Jordan. I play your music over and over. I am 89 years old and so happy I have found you on u-tube. My name is SueAnn and I live in Indianapolis Indiana. Bye.
He reminds me of Brian Stokes Mitchell 😍
I was thinking same thing. Also Rosano Brazzi(spelling) "Some Enchanted Evening" Would love to hear Mr. Donica reprise his roll in South Pacific.
I admit to originally being super annoyed when I heard Guinevere wouldn't be singing this in the current show...and then i watched the show and GODDAMN Jordan sold the damn thing. 😍
Hmmm. Guinevere does sing and Philippa Soo is glorious!
@E A Really? When I saw this in previews it was definitely only Lancelot, and it was mentioned in news articles that that was one of the changes in the musical score. They added Guinevere in the final version of the show?
Super tall, super fine…and…wow…what a voice!!
I love how he inhabits a song!
He’s gonna steal the show.
Baritones for the win
Love Jordan's male voice without any ethnic overtones. Beautiful, full, and heartfelt.
What do you mean by ethnic overtones?
What exquisite voice. He is wonderful.
He’s the best thing about Camelot!
I thought all three leads in the love triangle were phenomenal! Wish they got more Love from the Tonys!
I agree. I was disappointed in how Aaron Sorkin changed the book 😢
Oh my goodness!! How exquisitely beautiful!! Break leg dear Lancelot!! What an amazing voice and what a performance!! I can imagine only imagine on the stage!!! 👏👏❤️❤️
I'm in love... period.
Have mercy!
Beautiful! His voice sounds even better and richer than when he played Freddy in My Fair Lady. He is getting better and better every time I hear him.
Tears! The patient delivery just grips you 😻
Be still my heart 💘
Can't find a video on here with him singing with an orchestra. I'd love to hear that.
I really hope Jordan has time between his appearances to make an album. 8 would be first in line to buy it,
Lovely
Nooo way!! This song and his voice give goosies

Beautiful!
WOW!
You have such a magnificent voice!
Great!
What a beautiful voice, gorgeous vocals!!
What a gorgeous voice. I wonder if he has a baritone's range as well?
Usually this song is sung by Gueneverre, but it makes so much more sense for Lancelot to sing it. Good thing, too. This is a magnificent rendition.
I come back to listen to this song fairly often. Not only is the singing beautiful, but it is so in character. I've watched some of Jordan's other parts. His "What Did I Miss?" from Hamilton is hilarious and his Freddie in My Fair Lady is just adorable. I've heard some interviews, too, and Jordan himself seems to be a really down-to-earth and light-hearted guy. Lancelot was such a heavy role, but played to perfection by Jordan. (I saw him live in July.). I've always loved Camelot since I was little girl. Lancelot never seemed to be very complex. Jordan's Lancelot was a very deep soul who discovers that life and love were not what he expected and not always under his control. That comes out so beautifully in this song. Jordan's fabulous voice and technical brilliance support this emotional complexity in a way I'm not sure anyone else will ever be able to do. I am just really grateful that I got this see this show on stage during its not-so-long run. If it were still playing, I would be planning another trip to NYC to see it again.
I knew Jordan from his high school days and costumed him for a couple of our community theater productions. He was a very sweet young man and always gave me a hug. He was very appreciative of the costuming I did for him. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you< Norma. It is so nice to know that someone with such great talent is also so humble and a regular guy! I can't wait to see what he does next.@@normafloyd9192
😮 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Forget Robert Goulet. Jordan Donica is better!
His voice is a treasure.
Except Goulet never sang this song. it was sung by Julie Andrews.
@suestraw2998: The audiologist’s office called with an appointment early next. Until then your sound will be off. You will hear the mediocre Jordan Donica and think he sounds like the superb Robert Goulet. But the doctor can correct that problem. Your logic? No so certain!
@@johnpickford4222 -- LOL! Actually I DO have an appointment scheduled with an audiologist so perhaps you are right!
Leave some talent for the rest of us, my man! 😅
Why baritone voices matter
Lack of communication kills a relationship nd dramas do it fast.
I can’t stand that my cellphone, my checkout, my purse were stolen from me. I became very panic.
My car could not be started at night. I can’t
What exquisite voice. He is wonderful.
