    Growing up, I’ve had a few very close friends with this condition. Ranging from a bit of spasticity within their legs. To having spastic quadriplegia can all four limbs and relying on a device to communicate on their behalf. What seems to bother me? It’s although I don’t have this condition. The worst that I have is already hereditary EDS. It absolutely frustrated me that my close friends were only seeing extreme conditions and examples of cerebral palsy and then being judged accordingly. Everybody with any condition is very different. There’s a reason why it’s acalled a spectrum.!

  • @trisharaichatterjee2578
    @trisharaichatterjee2578 Před 11 měsíci

    I sort of unfortunate know how it feels to be shown the extreme version of a disability. And then having that extreme example of a disability, being the only example of that disability, and having to rely on that particular extreme example, as your only framework for what you’re capable of doing. I am a high functioning, woman with autism and ADHD, and while I am very close to obtaining a communications degree. I still have people doubt my intellectual capacities. I’m not not be good at reading context clues entirely yet. But I’m not an idiot. I don’t think I would be excepted to the schools. Honor Society if I was. Stay strong Stephanie. As far as I’m concerned, you are a strong young woman like I am. Constantly smashing stigmas of what other people think our life should be.

    6:35 min. People also stare at me and my family when we are eating as they are probably told or brain-washed that we are different when we are actually very normal people. In fact highly intelligent human beings. So branding people in Singapore is actually a problem whether you are normal or not. Often if you do not join those religious cult groups, they would brand you and profit from their relentless multi-level marketing campaigns to gain insanely profits. I have also bought your peom "Shades" and it gives me a much better perspectives of people with celebral palsy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts through your peoms.
