I definitely feel you on collecting what makes you happy to collect etc its hard to drop members especially because i spent so much money on them 😩😅 AND i need to prioritize other life things lol. Definitely dont feel bad its hard collecting large groups but the love will always be there! ❤️❤️
I definitely understand what you mean on dropping a collection and contemplating whether you might go back to it or not. When I first started collecting I was going all in like collecting all the members of each group I stand but then it started getting difficult and certain members are overpriced. I literally cried when I decided to give up certain collections because it felt like I was betraying the group/members. But I honestly feel so much better knowing that all the cards I gave up, they are being loved more in their new homes and it gives me the chance to focus on other groups and not stress out. I kid you not at one point I was trying to collect 0t 13 for Seventeen and took a jump back quickly and didn’t go through with it. But don’t be afraid to drop a collection, after all it is your collection and no one can tell you what to collect and what not. Absolutely loved watching your video. New subscriber!
Im glad you’re being honest and everything about collecting and your collections. Do what you want and feel would be good for you, your mental health and everything. It’s what makes you happy after all!
I feel like everyone here me included relates to your talk about downsizing haha. collecting should and can be really fun but u need to find a rythem. for me personally the method is to figure out what collections make u happy without money in the equasion! when I think about the collections I ended up keeping in my recent downsize im very excited for whatever they release, obviously there IS a level where its too much merch but generally entering those groups comeback months im a lot more focused on excitement and love than counting pobs or stressing about how much money I spent/will spend on the comeback. its to the point where I look back at some eras like "whoa how did I spend so much but not stress at all" . you obviously should be budgeting and being smart but if you enter a comeback for a group u collect and see it as nothing more than a "damn, thats --$ off my bank rn" .. thats kinda toxic and easily the beginning of falling out of love with a collection
i used to fully collect jun but i dropped him like 3 times before deciding to selectively collect him because i used to get overwhelmed by the amount of cards svt had. i’ve always regretted fully dropping him because every time i tried to pick up his collection again, the cards were a lot more expensive 😭 so now whenever i’m not feeling it with any of my collections i just take the cards out of my binder for a while (sometimes until the next cb!) to see if i miss them or if i’ll be fine with letting them go so at the end i have no regrets, i’m currently doing that with my seeun collection until stayc’s cb ^^
thank u for uploading! my favourite part of your collection of definitely your nct binder. I use to collect other groups too. but i lost interest in collecting them. but i couldn’t sell or part with them as i still have attachment to it. even though i don’t see the need to keeping them anymore.

Ooooh, I also dropped my entire Sana collection (I'm still debating whether I should drop the more difficult ones or my favorites but I think I'm slowly getting there). I had the same reasons as you lol! I was also inspired by you dropping Shownu. I still love the girls but I have already too much on my plate, I've been collecting all Seulgi albums cards, also merch ones and pobs and I've been enjoying it but it's too much if I'm doing the same for another idol as nowadays companies release way too much. I've been also collecting Suho, Key, Eunbi and Seola sporadically and I think I'm enjoying more collecting like that 😊
It's ok if you want to take a break on collection sometimes. Kpop collecting is supposed to make you happy 😊❤
