How many times did my husband and I look at land for sale in Wears Valley, so many beautiful places. We started looking in the 1980s. Every time for about five times a years as we would spend scouting the places up for sale. You know what we were seeking was the beautiful quiet cool valley that stretched from one end to the other. If it could be bottled and sold that 10 million dollars would have been surpassed many years ago. What a beautiful video, thanks for sharing. I love your videos some of them bring back so many memories of my grandfather when we would ride through the mountains. But I look at when it was actually when it was made it says it's I'm always late it was a year ago it was 6 months ago and a lot of the comments I want to make can't do because it doesn't go inside with the time that you're there but thank you for showing us things to do in Gatlinburg and weirs valley and lots of the Tennessee mountains thank you so much and God bless

. We love the Smokys and had a chance to stay in Gatlinburg back on May 18 and 19 and 20. Spent most of one day in the Park. Walked around Elkmont and Daisy Town. Stopped at the the Sinks. Drove up to Tremont and took lots photos. Drove the Foothills Pkwy from Townsend to Wares valley. We had a great visit with no crowds.

Love the video. Wears Valley is so Beautiful!! We use to live in Maryville, not far from the foot hills parkway and Not far from the tail of the dragon !! We Miss living down there and are very thankful for y’all’s videos and we still get to visit.

We loved Townsend. Got to explore it some when we camped in Cades Cove. We saw fudge, go back to the fudge shop. We love fudge. Enjoyed as always. It may be 15 miles from Townsend to Pigeon Forge. It's $120 for a taxi from Cades Cove campground to the Tow Shop/Repair in Sevierville

thank for another great show guys luv riding around the back country roads in a nice automobile with you and not having to feel the bumps and potholes LOL that for sale sign has been up on that property for years i wonder why it has not sold LOL GOD BLESS b safe

It is a really nice area - all around The Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and over into NC - Cherokee, Bryson City, and over to Asheville...
and over towards Franklin, Highlands, Cashiers, and Brevard NC. You can't beat the Mountain areas of North Georgia, Western NC, and East Tennessee....

Boy land is going fast now. Really hard to find a decent area that will let you use a camper periodically that's actually accessible to a camper. Most of the unrestricted stuff is really steep. Eventually we hope we will find the right spot..

I really enjoy the backroads that you go on. Where in Ohio did you live? I live in Ashland. If you get on the foothills parkway can you get off around gatlinburg or do you have to go down to the tail? Thanks for your information.
Thanks Kenneth! We lived in New Lebanon OH. If you get on the parkway in Wears Valley and head south witch is the only way to go you can get off in Townsend or travel on down to Hwy 129. It's really beautiful.
Wears Valley is absolutely beautiful! Have y'all tried Geppetto's Italian restaurant? We were hoping to try it if we make it back to the Smokies this summer. We drove past it last summer and it was packed.
