    The sound has turned off on our F4MT08WE and we don't know how. How do we turn the sound back on? The instruction manual doesn't mention it anywhere. And you mentioned this at the beginning but never showed us how

    Just bought a LG F4MT08WE, just before Christmas following a period of time with a washing machine which had had the bearings gone. Which was very noisy . Don't know whether the E at the end means it is more economical. It has the new rating of D. I under stand they recently changed them. Certainly is quieter, sound like a underground train coming into a station. Fingers crossed very happy with it so far.

    Thanks for this, better than the awful Bosch contraption I bought last year. No options to pick a temp. Have to press the start button numerous times before the program starts. Pile of crap.

    • @dankoo2000
      @dankoo2000 Před 2 lety +1

      Let me answer to myself: No, not possible! So, temperature and spinning settigs are visible only BEFORE the wash takes place, not after! Another drawback is related to the super sensitive on/off button. If you accidentally press it (which is very likely) you have to start the washing cycle from the beginning!

      @lords-electrical  Před 3 lety

      You can wash a duvet, as long as it fits in the machine ok. You will need to make sure the duvet can rotate and move around in the machine, if it can't then it won't be able to wash properly.

      I would normally recommend doing a maintenance wash which is a 90 degree wash with nothing in the machine and make sure the door is left open after the wash has finished to make sure it is dry inside.

      @blakaeg Před 4 lety

      The feet on these are the same as the ones on your Hotpoint. LG are great machines and I would choose one of these any day over a Hotpoint.

      it's a typical LG thing to not list spin only around the dial. but you should be able to do a spin cycle on all LG machines.
