What's ironic about his whole persona is that it fundamentally depends on others' opinions of characters instead of him taking in the show and deciding if he likes characters based on how he truly feels about them. I always try to give him the benefit of the doubt and just let him play Devil’s advocate, but I did get a little bit heated after Katakuri humbled himself and allowed himself to fall on his back in front of Luffy after giving him respect and Rob still said he was a chump lol. With Zoro out of this arc he had to find a new object of hate and luckily Katakuri was the perfect target. The fact that Rob doesn't like Katakuri has solidified him as a dope character.
In the end Snakeman vs Katakuri was the Battle of speed. Luffy King Cobra connected few moments before Katakuri Buzzcat Mochi, cutting its power. In the end the more tenacious one was victorious.
