Metal detecting around a house built in 1948. I found a rare coin worth 100 times face value and something that predated the house by nearly a century!
Video glitches for about 10 seconds at 2:53. I apologize for this. New detecting video ready to post for tomorrow already. While I'm in a groove I'll post as many as I can. :)
I used to be a subscriber of yours,, but took a break for a while a few years back. Don't even remember why. But, I searched you out today and was very pleased to see you are still swinging the T2!! I understand why,, it's a great detector!! BTW,,,, subscribed again!
Always nice to find a few goodies in the front yard, glad you’re getting the bug again. Need to hop in the truck and take a ride to the property afore long, the beans are about out of the fields
Yepper's, that's a chalk line, you just put your chalk in where that little door is and you're good to go! It looks like it's in very good shape too, Nice find.
Hello JD, Hope ya had a great Thanksgiving and wishing you a Merry Christmas. Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
Great seeing you back! That was a very entertaining video, you can't beat finding civil war relics and old coins in the same location, even better it being in your own back yard! I would hit that wooded area a few more times while some of the growth is down. Some time back in the 70's my brother use to go to old coin shops, this one shop had a container that sat out on the counter that was mixed with foreign and old worn US coins. I can't remember for sure the price, but I think they was like 50 cents to 1 dollar each. My brother found a 1916 Mercury dime in that container and where the mint marks location was a piece of old dried up gum or glue was on it! He bought the coin, took it home and removed the paste off of it. Sure enough it was a 1916 D! Take care and God bless!
Good to hear from you! I just started digging again last week after not being out since January. I'll catch up on some of your videos to see what you've been finding. I hope all is well!
Congrats on the Woods Merc. Be careful with the garter snakes, they are the most deadliest snake in the World, said no one LOL Everytime I see another of your videos, you live in a different house. I am thinking you are in the Witness protection program :)

Great to see some cool finds. The lipstick tube was my favorite…. Well, right behind the dime.

ohh man for a second when i seen the D mint i was feeling like you were going to flip over and show 1916 but great find
So close!
Definitely a chalk line!
Thank You ✨🪙 ✨😊
Ty JD 🙂
I have seen some people find amazing stuff metal detecting
Loosing a dime in 1918 really hurt.
Was the car license plate number still on the opposite side of the Disabled American Veterans keychain identifier? I had one of those in the 1960’s. 😅
I feel three or four years younger, simply because JD is posting metal detecting videos again!
Wow 😲
👍👍👍😁
Hey JD, been a long time..
Hey! Hey! 😀
Pockets are how coins git lost in the holes within.

Chalk line. Open it up. Clean it out. Put new chalk in it. Save yourself $20.
Lot a wear on the rear lettering. Less than F12.
Chalk line
Blessings!
