Nobody knows what they’re doing, and everyone is winging it.

Especially for us older creators, there's a lot of conflicting advice on how to best grow and stand out on CZcams. But no one has all the answers; even the most popular creators are constantly adapting, figuring it out as they go.
Take inspiration from others and advice from experts, but be sure to put your own personal spin on it. Don't make the same stuff that everyone else is, give yourself some grace (as a creator and a human), and aim for progress over perfection.

This was a great video Brandon! "Nobody knows what they’re doing, and everyone is winging it." - literally my channel (and life, like you said lol). CZcams advice = not one size fits all and it's just a matter of trial and error. See what works. And sometimes things that don't work now, might work later and might catch the algorithm train. I think the willingness to put yourself out there is the biggest hurdle most creators have (and burn out/consistency/the long game).

great tanacity, I've just taken a look at your video history, you have one successful video thus far, but you definitely are making progress regarding production value. It is not however translating to subs and views. You have the demeanor of a larger creator, that's excellent. Hi Brandon! Thanks for another great video! ✨ What settings are you using on the Osmo pocket 3 when filming these outside scenes? Are you using ND filters? Color grading in post?

Thank you, Birgir! My Pocket 3 settings are: 4K24fps, Image Adjustment: -1 Sharpness, -1 Noise Reduction, Focus Mode: Continuous. Everything else: auto. No ND filter. Light color grading in Premiere Pro, adjusting contrast, highlights, whites, blacks until it looks good enough. I don’t really know what I’m doing, but I’m learning as I go!
