Today we will go on a tour of Szombathely railway station. The station started operating in 1865, and the last significant investment in the station building was made in 2006. From this railway station, trains leave for Budapest Keleti, Győr, Sopron, Csorná, Pápa, Veszprém, Celldömölk, Kőszeg, via Körmend to Szentgotthárd and Graz, as well as to Nagykanizsa, Vasvár, Zalaszentiván, Zalaegerszeg, and to Lake Balaton. Passenger center (personal customer service) opening hours:
Monday-Sunday, holidays: 6:50 a.m.-7:10 p.m
Domestic ticket office opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 3:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m
Saturday, Sunday, holiday: 3:55-11:45 p.m
Opening hours of the international cash desk:
Monday to Sunday, holidays: 6:50 a.m. to 7:10 p.m
Waiting room opening hours:
On working days: 3:00-23:45,
Saturday-Sunday: 3:55-11:45 p.m
