  • These stories provide concrete examples of how having a strong work ethic, being passionate and enthusiastic about your work, emphasizing customer service skills and building rapport with performers will advance your career in live sound. If you are relatively new to live sound or if you've been at it for a while but want to add to your overall skill set then these videos will teach you about the "soft skills" that are almost completely overlooked by most live sound engineers. This is information you will need in order to form a philosophy and work ethic that are necessary for continued success and happiness. The world of live sound already has too many bitter losers. Don't be one of them!

Thank you so much, and in return here's validation. have become a huge fan.. I am a full time engineer, and have experienced some moderate success, which is to say, I'm able to make a living doing what I do. As most of the engineers who work at this level and have experience, I have a bad of tricks and things that I use to create a really good mix, that I believe the artists and audiences have enjoyed. I contribute most of my success, to my modo "nobody like a dick"... Thank you for reinforcing the psychology of engineering, and the impact it plays on building relationships. you have also reminded me and mentioned things that I now take to my gigs. you are a rock star to me and thanks again, for reminding me, pushing faders is only a small part of what we do and how we survive in the industry. I will continue to follow you..
    All my best,
