I like this a lot and think that it is underappreciated. A lot of good actors. Clooney and Rhames' characters were true friends. Elmore Leonard's humor enriches it, as well. And I am reminded that at times it seems as though Sam Jackson enhances every other movie.
Just saw this and thought it was ok. A lot of people compare it to Pulp Fiction and Ocean's 11 but I don't think it comes anywhere near the heights of those two, the story just wasn't interesting enough or maybe it was the pacing as Wikstrand said. Yes the chemistry between JLo & Clooney was good, the prod values and supporting cast were good, the non-linear framework was good with clever flaskbacks but it all led to a rather forgettable movie imo. 7/10 from me

I don't think anyone thought it was love with Jack and Karen, it was just really strong attraction.
