So I had a referral meeting today and I kinda had an idea of what I wanted if I’m doing this. And I told him I want Zirconia monolithic with loc bar, and he said no way, it’s too brittle. Correct me if I’m wrong but are the other materials more brittle that’s why zirconia is becoming more common? Like he lost me right there and he wanted me to do dentures until my mouth heals and go from there but he wanted to do titanium which I live in Canada and it would suck In winter. Idn. Me personally I don’t agree with what he had to say. Though, he is a professor and chief of surgery so like hell I know what I’m talking about. Disappointed to say the least. 9 thousand to extract 28 teeth.
