Love the Mario 64 water level theme music!! 🙌🏻
Thank you, I couldn’t remember what game that music was from and I knew the comment section would let me know
Love that the ridership is already booming. Hopefully this will incentivize Amtrak to make more routes like this knowing that a quality product makes a huge difference and hopefully a collab with Brightline could be done in the future.
Seriously! I would be first in line if Amtrak expanded the northeast corridor to New Hampshire. I hate driving into Boston. A train line would be so much easier!
@@AidanS99 lucky for you they just got funding for an extension to New Hampshire from the FRA
@@portcybertryx222 I know. I’m just worried the NH will try to block it. Some people are really against change up here.
Amtrak gets pooped on a lot for some reason but we've traveled on them many times and I have to say they are clean and quiet and smooth in my experience. They have Wi-Fi and electrical outlets at every seat and a cafe car that opens periodically throughout the trip. On certain legs of the trip it can get kind of crowded, but not uncomfortably so. The only negative I can think of, really, is that the cabins can be extremely cold (like, I'm not kidding) so be sure to bring a blanket!
@@JustWasted3HoursHere I think the issue with Amtrak has never been its on board facilities but rather the lack of punctuality and coverage
Ooooh that opens up so many possibilities for a Florida holiday ! I’d love to do Orlando with a day or two in Miami next time using the train 😃.
Spread the word.
Makes feasible day trips between Orlando and South Florida for locals too
@@AssBlasster Also would tremendously help connect for air travel. Imagine if you wanted to fly out of a Miami for an internetional trip, but you live in Orlando (or even vice versa). I live near Tampa and I have a flight using Qatar Airways from Miami on February, its going to be awful to drive but i dont have too much of a choice other than bus.
@@Blaze6432I had that flexibility when traveling to Europe. Flew into Frankfurt on a cheap flight and then hopped on a 5 hr ICE train to Utrecht. Brightline gives that flexibility for Florida travelers now, eventually getting to Tampa.
I’ve already booked a roundtrip ticket from Orlando to Miami and getting on a cruise for a week. I’m so excited that I don’t have to drive, I can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Sure hoping they open the route to Tampa soon, cause that’s much closer to me😂😂! Thanks for outstanding coverage of this futuristic mode of transportation..
Thanks for this vlog definitely wanna take the bright line now
Me too!
How was the experience please details. I’m doing the same and would like a heads up of anything you got! Thanks!
@@Therealcalmrican best decision ever ! I got Premium seats which gives you access to the Premium Lounges. Also when you purchase a Premium ticket, you get a complimentary Uber ride to locations within 5 miles of the station. This option is great if you are cruising out of Port of Miami. The seats were comfy, and had charging ports . Staff was very kind. Another perk of a Premium ticket is the snacks and drinks are complimentary both on the train and in the Premium Lounge. The ride was very smooth! Can’t wait until it starts making stops in Tampa, I’ll be in Miami for day trips on a regular😂😂!!
@@MJT2366 can I pay for that shuttle separately? Glad you had a good ride. Some reviewers on CZcams are sketchy. I chose the 5am ride from Orlando to Miami just incase there is delays or anything. Worst case I can get a credit and head back home and drive my ass to the Port in time for the cruise.
Listening to Vincent speak in Spanish gave me life! 😆
Vincent, did you ever split English words and Spanish words into same sentences and not realize (my wife did with her first language when talking to her dad on phone)?
@@johngosbee5574 I find myself doing it at work, sometimes!
I just returned from a trip to Italy. They have a well developed highspeed rail system. They have 200MPH trains. That is exactly what the US needs. 15 routes running north-south and 10 routes running east-west. We could easily do 250MPH average speeds.
the problem is mosttrack in the US freight dominated. Amtrak Leases rail access from the freight companies that own the rail. If we want full high speed rail lines - we need dedicated track for these 200mph trains - Which might happen for the brightline west line between RC and Vegas.
THANK YOU for posting this great video explaining BOTH cabins. (Your shots are great, your explanations are clear, your language is delivered at a nice speed. Nice job!)
Thank you Keith! Glad it was helpful, I had a lot of fun making this one.
Hey Vincent, I really enjoyed this video of displaying the ride from Orlando to Miami! I know you don’t do video request but it would be cool to do a video of what life is like living in Orlando outside of the theme parks (living, home owning, doing other activities) like a pros and cons video. Would love to hear your take on those things!
This really was soooo cool! I really enjoyed that trip and the fact that you got to travel it brand new!!
Do the seats recline? They look hard on the back
Love the aquarium, music throwback Mario, 64 baby!
I use it anytime I go to an aquarium, haha
My autistic son loves trains and we have a trip booked for this Sunday. He has been counting down the days for over 2 months. Really looking forward to experience this with him.
Can’t wait until they make a stop on the Treasure Coast.
Jacksonville, too
That would be fantastic!
I want to do this trip soon, thank you for making this and using both types of cabins!
I'd be willing to try it, just once and say I did it. I also have never traveled on a train so it would be a fun experience.
I’m from Miami born and raised, this is one of my fav restaurants. I can’t wait until I can take the train there. Love the Frost!!
love your MarioN64 underwater montage!
This is brilliant Vinny. We just got home to the UK from Florida this morning and saw the new train system, it looks so handy. Cheers as always for the fab video.
Thank you for this! I totally forgot the Brightline was coming. This opens up many more excursion opportunities for my next Orlando trip
Great detail video man. Thanks for this. I'm gonna try the bright line in next two weeks.
I love your videos. Your videos are so entertaining.😊
I'm very excited to see the Brightline West is under construction, especially after seeing this! Reminds me of the trains I would ride in Europe and Japan. It's not as fast, of course, but very nice!
I just missed ya on the train! Think I rode later that dame day! Great video 😎
Thank you for sharing your Brightline travel 😃. I now think that I will travel by that rail in the future. It must be relaxing and great not to drive all that way to Orlando. Thanks again.
Fun vid!!! Loved it !
Great stuff Vincent. I’m heading over to Orlando from London in May. Will definitely be taking a day trip down to Miami on the train.
🤩 wow exciting to see !!
Thank you for this!! Love the train. Wish there was more bright line ❤❤❤
Excellent video, Vincent! Great coverage on the points. And there was something that premium offers that smart class doesn’t have. Which is upon arrival you can get a free Uber from the station or if the place you wanna head is within I think if I remember around 4 miles away from the station you can use Brightline’s mobility service to take you to that place.
Great video tho, just thought about that since it felt missed.
What an awesome review! We'll definitely have to keep this in mind and thank you so much for the info. 👍🏼
Glad it was helpful! It was a seriously pleasant trip.
man i loved this episode! great to know about lil Havannah! Probably guna do a day trip next time im in orlandpo because of this!
Great vid Vincent, thank you fellow Miamian!
Awesome vid! I hope to take a trip from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale soon!
Looks great! So interesting to hear you say it was your first ever train ride! It makes me realize just how normal it is for us to use trains and public transport in Europe compared to in the US.
I love all of the details you included. Of course, it'll rain and of course, your departure time was booked up. I think most people can relate to that. You changed your shirt from Marlins to a Versailles cafe shirt haha
Great video! I just did a trip report too on this!
That was great. New easy commute between the cities when you don't want to fly
Great video. I’m going to Orlando to Miami next month
I use to travel in Greyhound bus from Key West to Miami to Orlando, so I have to say: Brightline looks definitely nicer !
This was a fun video to watch Vincent! Great idea 😃
I'm glad you liked it!
@@VincentVision 👍🏼it was a nice breather from all of the halloween content in my subscription box recently.
Thanks so much for making this video! We’re South Floridians and my hubby is excited to not have to drive to Orlando as much now that the Brightline is an option. Great seeing the experience before we buy tickets! Just a quick reminder- in Miami it’s Ver-si-yez 😉 But so glad you got your croqueta on!
Thank u for this information
better late than never..! Looks amazing. much more exiting than billion dollar lane expansions.
Cool vid Vin.
Awesome!
I enjoyed your video. Mother in law is coming to visit from Germany. I think we'll do the same things you did.
So even when booking when it says direct. It makes stops to the other stations?
Yassssss!!!!!!! Cafe con leche and Croquetas are LIFE!!! Do we really need anything else in life to be happy??
I cannot wait to take my daughter from Orlando international airport to Tampa... So we can dress up as characters for Metrocon.. thank you for showing this video I'm going to show this to my mom so she can go overseas
So if you were dropping someone off to ride the Brightline in Orlando, where exactly would you take them at the airport? Is everything clearly marked? What if you were parking your car at the Orlando airport, is there a separate parking area for Brightline?
You’re an awesome 👏🏻 CZcams channel.
Thanks but would have like to see the walk from level 5 I believe into the terminal.
Does anybody know if the seats recline at all in coach? Major neck problems
Wow! Do you have some good photos of the aquariums, gigantic, and the puffer fish look wonderful
I meant to write you have some great photos of the aquarium !
This video was mostly focusing on the Brightline train experience, but maybe a proper Frost Science Museum video is in order!
@@VincentVision Yeah, I know the video was focused on bright line train experience mostly and that’s the reason why I watched it but also amazed by the gigantic aquarium.
Wait it takes about 4 hours on a train from Orlando to Miami. How fast can you get there in a regular car?
Great video!! I'm riding for the first time this weekend. The experience looks great, but the prices are so high, I waited until there was a BOGO deal! They do seem to send out BOGO coupons via email at least once a month to people who have accounts. Just in case this help anyone afford it!
Some of your background music on trip back to Orlando gave me vibes of Spirited Away (anime movie).
Wish it went through Tampa! also.... its killing me.... what were you playing in the background at the aquarium?!?! Total core memory but cant place it!!!!
It's the water level music from Mario 64 😭
It may go to Tampa in the future.
I’m taking this train from Orlando to Miami first week of 2024. Is the premium lounge accessible after you arrive as well or only before?
I believe not
No stop in Vero Beach :(
How bumpy was it?
Hey! I have a few questions: 1. How do you access the Brightline station if you’re taking an Uber? 2. Do you have to go through TSA to ride with Brightline? 3. Do you think it’s possible for an annual passholder to take a trip from Miami to Orlando to spend a few hours at the theme parks?
1. you’d have to be dropped off at MCO’s Terminal C
2. No TSA required!
3. The latest train back to Miami from Orlando is at 6:54, so maybe?
Orlando native here, eh I would say a day trip to visit the parks is probably pushing it. Mostly the issue is the long distance between the airport and the parks. Maybe if you want to drop $100 on Ubers. Finding a cheap Orlando hotel/airbnb and getting Brightline or even Amtrak the next day would be far more comfortable.
You’ll have to pay a minimum 140 round trip on brightline and uber to the parks and back for a day trip.
Nice video very informative my question if I want to take a cruise 🛳 to Miami can I take my luggage 🧳 with me especially those big luggage
Yes! There’s luggage space
Looking at a day trip to boca.
Not Tri-Rail but Metrorail goes near those museums. Tri-Rail will be going there sometime next year according to Tri-Rail officials.
So I notice in your video a lot of the seats are facing the "wrong" direction.... not so great for people who don't like riding backwards.... I wonder why they did that.
Oh wow! Totally recognized one of the random shots out the window on your way to Miami. I was within a mile of Vincent and I didn't even know it.
Edit: Ok after watching this I'm annoyed all over again that Brevard basically didn't even try to get us a stop on the Brightline. I'd totally make use of this if we did!
I believe Brightline is thinking about adding wanted one or two stops on the Gold Coast
They will be doing a 2 year study for a Cocoa station
Looks pretty empty? Was it just a not busy time or is that normal
I did a relatively early weekday ride, I also think the Orlando to West Palm Beach ride isn’t very busy
Wow 👌 awesome subway 🚉
Also, didn't know you spoke Spanish, but being from Miami it nakes sense. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico so also speak Spanish.
is there a car rental place at brightline ? if i'm coming from miami how do i get around to the parks
Yes, there is car rental, it's part of Terminal C where Brightline is located in. Also, there are shuttle buses provided by Mears, the same company that operated the Magic Express, they provide transportation to Disney, Universal, etc.
Brightline has Brightline + to take you to final destination
@@dynasty0019 thank you
@@TrainzDriver2 thank you
Also, a cheap way to get to the parks on international Drive, the theme parks is to take a city bus which is only about two dollars. I tried it twice. I’m pleased. then once you get to International drive, there’s a Trolley.
Yeah, I like Cuban Café con Leche
If you take the shuttle from the airport to Brightline it now cost $15 one way. That was an unwelcome surprise considering everything we saw on this was it was free! Apparently they change the rules regularly according to the driver. ☹️
The only station that doesn't have the Mary Mary bar is the boca Raton station
I'd like to know where in Orlando you're situated at where you can't order in Spanish 😅
Is it $80 each trip ? Is very expensive
How much was parking?
$19 for the day!
Now if they just connect the sunrail with the Brightline...that will be a game changer
You should’ve done another museum close by or an art museum with your three hours
You need to experience Europe trains.
It’s funny last month when I went to Miami I was gonna take the train but for $85 one way I just flew instead same price and only 45 min flight vs a 4 hour car or train ride
This train is for people who want to experience something different as far as transportation is concerned that's not on a bus or plane. But if you're not interested in the experience just getting from point A to point B safely for as little as possible you could have taken the Flixbus for $25 each way.
Reminds me of EuroStar
I was born in Miami too but now live in Oregon
You should have taken the 4:40 train back
Many People fly from mco to miami airport
If you are going to do Premium one way and Smart the other, would you rather do like you did, or go Smart and return Premium?
That's personal preference, I suppose? I did enjoy premium lounge access at the start of my day, but I also wouldn't mind having some snacks and drinks on the way back home
Oh I thought you were from NYC 😅
There are flights now from Orlando to Miami for $119 RT cheaper than the train. But trains are cool. You get to see the land and maybe some clown getting hit.
250MPH highspeed rail would put domestic airlines out of business
Too good to be true
Premium cabin you’re mainly paying for the “free food items”
I don't like that you have to pay airport parking prices to board at Orlando. That gets pricey if I'm stayin' in Miami
I hear the LYNX buses are a great, cost-effective option to the airport!
The Train Station is at the airport in orlando, so i would have to pay airport parking prices to ride the train.@@AssBlasster
@@jerseykevin27I was being sarcastic about taking the crappy bus to the airport. I know the airport parking is pricey
@@AssBlasster then like the original comment!!
The Mario 64 music
just like a airplane
If I want to travel pest like my baby chiguagua only 1 years is ok and the tickets are will to pay thanks
Somebody can hit the lock the fort button and walk out tho lom
Give me some fast trains in and out of KC please. I would love to not have to drive or fly to places like Chicago, Denver, and Minneapolis.
Wym u dontbspeak spanish any more since u left miami ? Orlando n kissimmee theres more spanish then anything more puertorican then cuban tho
I love the idea of the Brightline, but once you get to either Miami or Orlando, I feel like you're f-ed when it comes to transportation unless you know someone/staying at a resort
I find the Orlando to Miami trip cause everything a tourist would want to do is a short Uber away, but yeah Orlando is trickier
In Orlando, the car rental places are already at the airport, so they chose a good location for the station. It's Orlando's problem to fix their miserable transit.
3:37 you're getting dog kibble?
I don't know why I just learned this...
@@VincentVision lol yeah. I was jk btw, I've been to Miami and was shocked that Cubans have a food called croquetas lmao
Oh man you are going to love a bullet train when you get on one.
It’s gonna blow my mind
Looking into someone taking Brightline vs taking a flight….
Flight definitely better if you’re just trying to get somewhere faster
Too much BS not enough out of window views.
