In this vlog we will cover 440kms in 21 hours (due to many problems). We will go through high mountain passes like Zojila (11,649 ft) as well as admire the dry hills of Ladakh region.

Beautiful journey! Would have loved to see your conversation with the bus driver as you had mentioned earlier that you would introduce us to him. Anyway, great job by the bus driver with the suboptimal equipment he had at his disposal. The bus stand did look very rudimentary with practically only buses there and nothing else. Hope they develop that place for the sake of the traveling public.

You were lucky that you d I don't get traffic at Zozilla pass. We were stuck both ways from Srinagar to Kargil for Army Blockade. 7-8 hours. Very frustrating. Also no toilets on the way! Very difficult journey! But loved the route and scenery with snow all around. And Kargil is lovely and majestic. ! LOC is a must visit. We visited it and saw the Pakistan camps through a telescope. Wish to visit Leh Ladakh one day.

Bus khrab ho jiya to auska thik nhi krta hn hmra jammu ka jksrtc ground ma dekhna new eicher aur maxium buses pri hui hn assa koi route nhi kyunki khrab hn thik nhi krta auska kaha vol i buses legi jksrtc per lg manoj sinha jab sa aaaia hn thora acha hua hn jksrtc ma i hope aana vala year ma kya pta aur buses aaia volvo seater ordinary kya pta 😊

Hi, enjoyed your blog. Let me clarify your apprehension over eicher. Product is way ahead of Tml & AL but particular eicher bus must have tech issue which should have corrected before start of adventurous journey like. Thnx

Hi, I've read that they have luxury and semi-lux bus for this route, so what kind of bus did you take? could you please guide me the time-schedule for each stop (Srinagar - Kargil - reach Leh)? One more thing, is there any notice for us since we are foreingers like permit or extra charge?

Really a good information
I mostly prefer ashok Leyland buses for long journeys because i have rarely see them break down i am not telling that the other brands are not good 👍
