I only have the front two oxygen sensors hooked up, the truck throws a check engine light, but the important thing is that the front to oxygen sensors control your fuel output, so they are the most important ones to have hooked up. The back to oxygen sensors are not as important, unless you want the check engine light off. And even then they make tunes that remove the check engine light. Hope this helps thanks for watching!
So I was going to buy some used cooks headers and y pipe for 1200$ right. That fell through. Then I realized I didn’t want to spend a bunch on headers, SO I bought stainless steel eBay headers for 250 I think, they came with a y pipe, new gaskets, and all the hardware! I would recommend the eBay headers! Here is a link to the other video, the link to the headers is in the description. czcams.com/video/Ky_bGUI_jQA/video.html I had a complete straight pipe from front to back, and I loved every minute of it! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@mikeverything4098 eBay has some dirt cheap stuff that’s pretty darn good. You can’t say no to stainless steel headers when they are only 240 with a y pipe lol.
I ran them for 10,000 miles and they did great. They are not a perfect fit but with a little bit of clearancing with a hammer and they will fit, biggest plus is that they sound good! Thanks for watching!
is there an updated ebay link for these? i'm assuming the 14-18 long tube headers for 25-350 are the ones? I'd def do a header wrap, and maybe some high temp paint to protect from rusting.. is the tube thickness thin or comparable to a $2k set of headers?
Haha thanks! Iv got stock gm wheels (22” not sure what the name is for them, they come on fancy gm full size suvs and trucks) and then I have 1.5” wheels spacers.
Yes it did, I never ended up putting a tuner on it, and I ran it for 8,000 miles before taking the headers off. Got a follow up video coming soon hopefully so subscribe and stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
I had to tighten them a couple times over the corse of 10,000 miles. I ended up going a different route and took the headers off, I gave them to my cousin and he is running them lol. Hose clamps are definitely the way to go if your running them temporarily. If your looking for something better they sell actual wider exhaust clamps for exhaust, like everything they are expen$ive. Thanks for watching!
Got these for my 17 silverado. Nightmare install. So tight on the drive shaft. Dented the header to crap to make it around the driveshaft...now i dont trust airflow for the front outlet that is now heavily dented. Just dropped $1800 on Kooks headers/y-pipe (1-3/4 to 3"). I should have done this originally. I bought these DNA headers and sent them off to get ceramic coated and everything...so much time and money wasted. DNA HEADERS SUCK DONT BUY THEM!
I had to dent mine as you could see in the video lol. That didn’t stop me from running them😁. I put the headers on only for the sound not so much for the performance. I knew I would not have the truck forever so I couldn’t really justify spending that much on headers just for sound lol, I was actually going to get some used kooks headers, they were even too expensive for my taste lol. Thanks for watching!
@@eliaguilar1915 they do not fit properly. They aren't engineered nearly as well as American brands. The weld quality sucks comparatively to kooks as well. You have to damage these headers to get them to install and even then they don't seat perfectly on the block...I had exhaust leaking from the Block with these. Garbage headers long story short
Nice job Bud.....anti sieze and custom fit =).....
Haha thanks🤘only the best for the Silverado 😂
All look like imma be getting them headers and that flowmaster super 44 lmao and a intake for maximum daily driver fun
Let them bald eagles fly!!! Thanks for watching!
If u leave the back 02 sensors will check engine light come on?
ive been trying to find a video if anybody hooked up the down stream sensors because i can only hook up one and not the driver side

Sounds so nice man like geezzz I have the same truck too what headers are those? And what muffler u got

@@goodolboys713 I just spent $560 on long tube headers and true duals for my trans am off ebay

I have been thinking about getting a set of eBay headers for my 08 Silverado but didn’t know if they are even worth buying or not.

Idk if you found any but I found a set for 04 - 13 silverado for 185 on a site called " ECCPP ", I'm debating on geting them or not
Wanted to see an open header start up
🤔 thinking of running open headers for a day just for the fun of it.. I will get a vid if I end up running open headers. Thanks for watching!

Just put it in the description box. Thanks for watching!
How have the hose clamps held up over time or did you end up welding everything later on?

What size drop / level u have
Stock in the rear, 3” level spacers in the front. Simple as that lol. Thanks for watching!
How are they holding up?
They did great! I only ran them for 10k miles, however they held up well and look like they could last for many many more miles. Thanks for watching!
