This country offers many benefits to everyone who wants to move to Asia.

Stay in high end residential area
Why not good ?
@@wjj7488 Germany and Malaysia are too different to compare. For me and my family the lifestyle Malaysia offers is simply much better. Germany is way too restrictive in my opinion.
Wow.. do your kids love it? Education level good compare to Germany/Europe/UK? Costly?

There are local and international schools, the latter mostly being in the area of the capital, Kuala Lumpur. These international schools are world class but they are also very expensive.
Can we keep Malaysia as underrated? Just a secret between us 😊
The immigrant will increase organically. Just waiting time. Asia is far from war zone that make our economy more stability stagnant even not boost like others region. But consistently growth. More people more option day to day

No people = No economy. Makan rumput?
Same here, over tourist and over development would ruin this country or a certain place that unique here.
Bali would be a nice example even some tourist say when they visit Bali it doesn't feel like they in South east Asia anymore too many foreign people.

I’m currently in Kuala Lumpur right now. I only came here cause you speak so highly of it. Your 100% accurate about everything. I absolutely am falling in love with this place. I don’t want to go back to Los Angeles California anymore.
I've been watching Nick Johnson's CA tour and man, I am not prepared. Welcome to Malaysia though hope you'll have a good time here
100% agreed as someone also from Los Angeles, KL can definitely give you that big city life without the big city price.
Hope you will discover more wonderful places and things to do here over time....
welcome to Malaysia
Since youa re in Malaysia, Never missed to go to Ramadhan Bazaar! only this month!
and ask people around what is the best food there. they will give suggestion. but more and try each of local foods ^^
"What I like about Malaysia is that it is a blend of the following:
1. Eastern values meeting Western values
2. Past traditions meeting the future
3. Muslims meeting non-Muslims and respecting each other's beliefs
4. Modern infrastructure cities meeting traditional villages
5. People of various ethnicities living harmoniously
6. Activities suitable for both the rich and the less affluent
7. Fast-paced lifestyles meeting slow-paced lifestyles
When all of these aspects are combined, Malaysia becomes a unique nation where anyone from any part of the world can fit in wonderfully."
I have a house in London but after 3 weeks there, I would be homesick for Malaysia. Yup, keep Malaysia a secret, only Singaporeans have always known this, always coming back to their roots knowing that Malaysia is not perfect as Singapore but way more relaxed and happier.
And after 3 days in Melbourne I already felt homesick for Malaysia !!!
Yes keep malaysia as like a hidden gem~💎😄
All the Malaysians agree, let us stay underrated pls
Come play as tourist welcome but better not migrate here to make our place expensive like Singapore and Hong Kong. The government has been doing good to raise the criteria of MM2H program.
🤣🤣🤣
Agree..haha
@@hamishliu9671 I think gov can mitigate this by allowing foreigner to buy condo only (not landed property). Since the supply currently is excess (like in JB). This is win win situation for everyone.
Haahaha I thought I'm the only ones to think that...
Malaysia is the bang for the buck country that has a high standard of living comparable to Singapore while only costing a fraction of the price and is also known for its medical tourism.
Loved Malaysia, its Literally underrated. So rich in diversity so the food is just awemazing. Never thought about it as an option to live but stayed in 3 of the cities mentioned here and all were so comfortable. I still say “Okay laaaa!”
I visited KL and was shocked how modern everything was. Like WOW this place is legit. I'm def going back.
As an American who is trying to travel abroad, I hope it stays underrated.
Malaysia is such a perfect country, we have loved exploring KL over the last few days, and cannot wait to see more of this beautiful country on our channel! 😍
I'm Uber impressed with PUTRA JAYA, Malaysia..30 mins South of Kuala Lumpur. It's a gorgeous new city.
yes!! i live here in putrajaya, won't wanna live anywhere else!
As a Malaysian, I would like to keep Malaysia that way -- the hidden jewel, which I prefer it to remain underrated. We welcome tourists of course, but we hope to keep just as it is, not hyped too much cause I selfishly love how peaceful we're with how we live now.
Yes we like to keep it that way😊
After a prolonged business trip to Malaysia, I plan to return to find a place to retire. It is literally as close to paradise as I have found after many years of traveling. Even the larger cities have a vibe that is soothing.
Seriously??! What about NY, London, etc? Care to elaborate?
@@mkleng NYC or London? Are you serious? NYC is a war zone and crime is growing. London is the same. Both are 10x the cost of Malaysia!

KL also having good and high standard Medical Health Service which is getting high ratings in the int’l survey!
Kota Kinabalu Sabah is also the finest place to visit because of the appealing tour package, which includes the nature of the island and mountains, as well as a culture and lifestyle that is quite different from that of the peninsula.

When I was in Vietnam 1966-67 some of the guys who took R&R went to Kuala Lumpur and they enjoyed this place.
I spent a few months in KL (with a weekend trip to Malacca - nice to see it in the list!) nearly 20 years ago. For a provincial boy from NZ it was eye-opening. I really enjoyed my time there.
KL is an awesome place. I've wanted to retire to Penang for years.
Thank you for promoting Malaysia, there are opportunities for everyone who want to call this country as home.
The most remote places are only a few hours from the big city, some western friends were baffled to be in a forest when they were in Kuala Lumpur just over an hour ago .
One of my favorite places in the world.
Better underrated than overrated!
Everybody welcome to Malaysia, we are freindly but not perfect, just don't make anything stupid & don't bring bad culture/immorality to Malaysia, just don't!
you have that black and white kuala lumpur railway station background picture in frame. voted one of the most beautiful railway station in the world built in 1911..
Thanks for speaking highly about Malaysia.
What a kick ass way to start the morning. Finally a positive You Tube video gets recommended to me.
I like Malaysia, it definitely is one of my favorite countries. And its similar neighbor, indonesia has been passing a lot of stupid laws that are very foreigner-unfriendly recently which make it increasingly the preferential option of the 2.
for examples?
Stupid for Malaysia but not for Indonesia
I have a house overseas but deep inside my heart, Malaysia will always be my home 😊
The reason why Malaysia still affordable because almost pretty much have been subsidized. The secret is well balanced population,so yeah lets stay underrated😂

We love KL, we at least travel there once a year, we are off in June again. Can't wait ❤
Where are u from?
Of all of asia and south East Asia, I feel by far most at ease in Malaysia, I didn’t even need to show an international drivers license to secure a car here.
Roads here in Iskandar Puteri are also better than the rest of Malaysia, and as good as the finest in Amercia.
i bet you stay in horizon hill, do you?
This man knows what he's talking about 👍
I was in Penang for a couple of weeks as a break from Thailand and also getting a visa to go back there. I thought it was a bit boring, although it did work fairly well. It’s a lot less cash-based too and as in most countries they don’t charge you $5 per ATM withdrawal like they do in Thailand, which is simply an abuse. The people seemed hardworking and mostly friendly, which was nice.
Just come to Selangor. Just beside KL
@@luqman3722 I'll look it up next time I'm in Asia.

Lots of golf here as well’. Not bad, not bad at all’
Living like a King is so easy in KL. Don't give away the secrets Andrew LOL

Nice to hear Andrew start to talk about Malaysia's East coast states like Terengganu, Pahang and Kelantan if you like to drive to Thailand during weekend.😊
You should visit Peninsular east coast cities like Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, and Kota Bharu. There will be a completion of the high-speed rail link ECRL in 2026/2027 that will only take about 4 hours to travel from KL to Kota Bahru vs 8 to 10 hours by car to cover a total distance of 665km. You will be amazed by the foods and cultures of the East Coast states.
How is the infrastructure in the East, specifically internet ?
@@andrewcarlson2178East Coast people are ultra conservative.

@@andrewcarlson2178 Same across Peninsula Malaysia. I was from the South state of Johor, and I really loves the beautiful and chill vibes of the East coast states, especially the food and beaches! Malaysia needs at least 60 million tourists every year to develop the Malaysian economy. All Malaysians will benefit later. Villagers can do home stay. That will benefit them.
Nope. It will create havoc. Just stay underated
If you wanted to go the MM2H route, this is what they require:
- $9,000+ in monthly income
- Permanent savings of about $230,000
- A declaration of liquid assets of about $340,000+
This is all subject to the USD/MYR exchange rate, of course, as the amounts are MYR 40,000, MYR 1,000,000 & MYR 1,500,000
