Surgical glue has been a big disappointment. Doesn't really work that well to line up and close an incision, certainly not as well as sutures do, and most surgeons now use it to go on top of the incision, to seal the incision overtop of their sutures. I would imagine that's what you had. I was out of town when my now 23rd old son got a laceration at about 2 years old and a friend of mine saw him and glued it. Scar didn't turn out very well, but as he grew up he got a lot more lacerations which I repaired, as he was quite rough and tumble little kid, but they became so hard to see as he got older. They never bothered him. I am sure I am the only one who notices the one that was glued!
What about surgical glue? That is what was used for my Fleur-de-lis
