I am 67 years old, raised a family, lost a wife and a daughter but I've always found solace in this type of music. LOTR holds a fascination for me also. I've read it over the years many times and love the movies. It is a mystery to me why the music and LOTR have this calming effect on me. Ziegler's music is wonderful.

you sir have really been through a lot. But I can relate to your fascination. I am from Germany and the history of the germanic people, as well as the celtics have always fascinated me a lot. Same accounted for Tolkien. He made all of those old tales come true for me and I figure to all who have got a heart for those ancient mystical times. I love this music so much and something within me seems to recognize it I believe, it gives me strength and patience making me capeable to endure much more than without it. Hearing this from makes me believe that even stronger

Adrian is my favorite composer of all time, he is such a beautiful person from all of the videos I have seen of him! I was having a really stressful day, feeling pessimistic and whatnot then I started listening to this and I feel at peace. Truly beautiful, Adrian, you are a great man for giving us such wonderful music to listen to for free.

I use this music to help calm down and relax depressed, suicidal, angry souls and it actually works. They are able to calm down by closing their eyes, taking deep breaths, and listening to this music.

I remember sitting out on a dock on a foggy lake one night a few months ago with this song playing. There was a nearly full moon in the sky, and sat there for nearly an hour watching the fog and moonlight dance to this song. Absolutely no words for this magick..

The Medieval ages were a time of sickness, despotism, disease, superstition, poverty, and despair. It may have been glorious for a very very limited few inbreds but it is not called the Dark Ages by accident. Pretty music though.... :-)

I can't explain why, but this song just makes me feel better. I was feeling down today for no apparent reason, and while this didn't make me energetically happy, it made me calm down, I'm not nearly as stressed, and I feel a sort of relaxed happiness. So thank you Adrian. Whether or not you read this, I'd just like to say that you made the end of the day much better for someone you've never met who adores your music.

Александр Иванов Wow that's so funny. xD But it actually makes perfect sense, what we call "Pirate" music is actually sailor music from the British Isles, and their sailor songs were all derived from traditional folk songs. And the folk songs of Ireland, Scotland and England are almost all Celtic.
