- Our buddy Brian King has been building this mad creation in his basement for many years, and now it's finally alive and RIPPING. It's an all-wheel-drive swapped Olds Cutlass, and it may be one of the wildest G-body builds we've ever seen. And the dude drove it all the way from Nebraska just to come show it to us and take a rip in the yard!! No trailers necessary. Just a whole lot of skinny pedal.

Where's that damned heart emoji? The dedication is real, but so is the drive 1400 miles and hoon on it! Most cars would break something launching that hard, this took it and drove home. Pretty sure this was on a vs that, too.

Idk how I stumbled down the rabbit hole of bad ass G body's tonight, but these guys are building the perfect cars. Down to the perfect offset, wheel size, stance for a looks and functional setup. 💯 This made me wish I had a cutlass

NO 1st if he just made and sold the carbon body parts he would be rich. I have a 86 442 cutlass and its almost impossible to find repo body parts for the car. Thats why he has the hurst olds paint job with no front air dam. You cant find the parts.
Id buy one! Id want different wheels and tires tho, some blizzaks on steelies would be perfect for me because i live in Wisconsin where it snows half the damn year

I watched this video when it came out and I was 17 I now own an 84 cutlass I’m putting a crate motor in. This video made me want a cutlass
GM's G-Body platform was always badass. Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Regal, Grand Prix. Can't beat it. Love this.

Who else looked up the parts for a trailblazer SS?? Transmission and transfer case can be had for less then a grand.
@Dave Micolichek Wouldn't have to be a Bravada, the first 2 generations of Bravada was just a dressed up S-Blazer/Jimmy 4x4, but with the transfercase out of the Syclone, Typhoon, and AWD Astro/Safari vans then the 3rd gen was a Trailblazer. My money is that he just got a S-Truck Bravada and chopped that up.

This is all TBSS parts, 1320 video did a full feature on this car a couple years ago.
@@barneymiller7894 wrong, the owner is very vague about what exactly he did. I have studied it very closely and seen the magazine article about it. It is clearly a bravada front diff, with a tbss tranny and transfercase. He hacked the frame up from the bravada and cutlass and came up with a cutlass that will accept the s10/bravada front differential. I know this to be the case, because I have copied it nearly exactly. In fact, you don't need any tbss parts. I used a 4l80 trans and the original bravada transfercase.
I remember reading about this car in a magazine a few years ago! Cool to see it done up even more!

I had my car for years before I heard anyone else drive it. Getting tires, I hear the tech pull it off the rack and of course he has to give it a little rev. :) He's got it in first gear (which I never use since it's geared too low for first to be useful unless you're starting on an uphill). Gives it a tap on the gas and almost launches into a bunch of parked cars.
When he handed me the keys, his hands were shaking. All he said was, "Wow."
Nah that was a slick way of asking to drive it, glad he was smart enough to not let that happen ,that's a car you have to know first
