03:22 Ukemi
10:50 Katate Tori - Tenshin Sayu Nage
12:10 Katate Tori - Tenshin Shihonage (Wrap Around Grip)
12:55 Katate Tori - Tenshin Shihonage ( Kokyu your Hand)
Note: "Lead...Blend...Catch Uke's Timing..." Circular Movements
15:47 (Static) Hand (grab) movements are the best way to train to understand your opponent's power. The idea...even though he's immobilizing your hand...you can still move easily. Even though the hand is restricted you still have freedom of movement.
17:30 Kihon Waza...Katate Tori - Tenshin Ikkyo, Nikkyo, etc.
18:20 It can be difficult from a static position...Change the technique from Tenshin Sankaku Ashi to Yoko Sankaku Ashi. (Back step to Side step)
22:18 Aikido is not just wrist locks......
27:00 Keep the connection....
30:00 Katate-Tori Ai-hanmi Tenshin Movement (Cross hand grab)...note: Circular Movement not linnear
33:34 Katate-Tori Ai-hanmi Irimi-nage ( Important: Get behind uke)
38:25 Katate-Tori Ai-hanmi Kotegaeshi ( Same entry as Iriminage... Get behind him first then grab his wrist)
41:39 Katate-Tori Ai-hanmi Kotegaeshi (Tenshin with Wrap Around Cut, switch, & Kotegaeshi)
43:33 Katate-Tori Ai-hanmi Shiho-nage ( Wrap Around w/thumb press & extend to get behind him)

It is very sad to see him struggling to breathe under his weight, I hope he recovers his health, so he could continue to teach so good in the future.
He passed in 2007.
@@rasheedgooden4415 yeah, I remember that. It was sad news.
Mantap sensi saya pingin belajaf
I’ve taken Aikido for 17 years and I still haven’t been allowed to take the showdan test. It kind of pisses me off.
That makes me feel better! I’ve been studying for 8 years but am still only 2nd kyu. There’s hope for me yet.
@@garyharper4188 I kind of have a reason for mine (not saying you don’t, just a bit of context) in the city I used to live there was only one other regular guy that come to class like most dojos in America. In USAF you have to complete your test with someone your rank or one rank lower. The regular guy broke his femur. Which takes a long time to heal. Then I moved, then the virus hit. So that’s my story.
The UKE only came to SHAKE HIS HAND !!!
He is like stop throwing me bro, lol.
And yes I like aikido.
why did he get so fat?
