Plasmo: "This model is only 98.7% accurate, so im adding 8000 aftermarket and scratchbuilt parts" Amazing work. :O
😁😁😁
Hahaha
😂
It is also my favorit plane, you did it really cool, awesome work!!👌🤘
"Now it's time to add the engine and make it fly"
AMAZING!!! This not 'Modelling': this is making 'ART'!!! You're my Insperation, David!
So demon right
I get what you mean but both terms equal the same meaning.
Esoteric Nostalgist I mean “demn “ true
Modelling is ART, My good sir!
It really is Art...
Occasionally in life people reach a level in their " Advocation" " Hobby " where it becomes art, this is no longer a model but a artistic masterpiece, plain an simple. Absolutely beautiful work, outstanding.
Plasmo Be Like:
"The pilot looks pretty good, but I went ahead obtained a DNA sample of a Luftwaffe pilot and grew a 1/32 scale pilot to stick in the cockpit."
Sounds legit. Haha!
"The effect is pretty nice"
I was going to say something like: 'With that attention to detail, the airplane model got so flattered that it in the end started to engine and started to attack the other models in the bookshelf.' But your comment was better, so I bow down to Donald he re below. :)
He’s also breeding insects in 1/32 scale to apply to the windshield and spinner.
@Donald Neal - don't give him ideas!!!!
After several years I really wanted to start modelling again - Now I'm doubting if I've even modeled before...
Your wallet thanks you.
This guy is on another level - utterly brilliant and so entertaining.
Ha, same. I've not done modelling for 35 years. The beauty of the internet is all the amazing ideas, tips, suggestions and methods a mere click away. None of that in 1985, you were on your own.
@Incog Nito two months build he's good but soam i
And THIS is why David is one of the best modellers on CZcams ... amazing skills and attention to detail.
Tim Bix learning from a “master”!
plasmo: *says he needs to do some "minor modifications"*
everybody: oh boy here we go again
heck yeah!!!
Мужчина вы просто молодец. Так скурпулезно и тщательно и с таким терпением собрали модель. Божественный дар.
No Plasmo Model is ever complete without some “minor” modifications. This is brilliant David.
I've never thought of using the Dremel as a lathe. That's genius!
The insane amount of details added by David is just mind blowing. This is a piece of art definitely.
I love watching your builds, you're an inspiration to many modellers and one of the reasons I got back into the hobby.
Plasmo glossary: "Minor Modifications" == "Rebuild from scratch. Under an electron microscope." Amazing as always!
I love you “minor” modifications :D that’s moving your models to a completely different level! Well done!
Well David, after retiring from full sized aviation, I have returned to modeling since viewing your videos. I feel I have the skill set now to build all 4 of the Papagui sqdn 190’s. Thanks for inspiring a retired aviator!
The amount of details you put into these models is simply astonishing. Excellent work!
After I saw the sheer amount of work you put into the cockpit instruments alone... I was absolutely floored, and my jaw remained firmly in the fully open position throughout the entire video. Your dedication and eye for detail is next level! Bravo sir!
Turned out beautifully, I love all the details you put into your projects! That's what sets you apart from all these other channels. I especially liked the rivet decals, super cool.
what an artist. I couldn't do that anymore because I can't see so well anymore. impressive. Beautiful job.
This guy has genuine next-level talent. He never fails to impress me. Best modeller on CZcams.
This is the best Focke Wulf model I've ever seen. Top notch, absolutely fantastic.
IMO, the best one is his old fw190 A-8 because it got resin engine and it is in a diorama. You should check them out if you didnt.
The D model is my favorite of all time as well. It was Corsairs as a kid, then progressed straight to the FW-190D. Some pilot opinion that test flew them after the war say it was the best piston aircraft of the war. Love the lines and that camo.
I was a fine-scale IPMS-USA modeler many years ago. I have seen amazing talent and artistic skills. But nothing I saw or experienced can match the artistry of David Damek. I have no other words.
Respect!
I never realized how much a person could do to a model! Outstanding job!
It looks like it would be able to take off in any given moment! David, thank you for sharing these amazing videos!
WOW. The cockpit blew my mind!
It’s unbelievable how you made your kits look like the real deal!!!your a real artist!!
You are a true master at “minor modifications”! Love your work
“This piece scales up to 1003 mm, when it should be 1002.5, thus, I must scratch build this piece
OMG! I can’t believe how much detail you can put into these models! I’ve put together quite a few 1/48 scale WW2 aircraft but got disappointed because I couldn’t put the detail I wanted into it. I had no idea you could buy so much aftermarket parts for them but the skill you have just knocks it into another level. Mind blown.
Brilliant David. I never get tired of watching you assemble models...You have an amazing gift, my friend! Mike G
That is a very impressive build and such a great tutorial! So much to learn from watching this. Thank you David.
HOLY cow man! You are a detail fiend. Such patience and precision you have. I love every second. I used to build Tamaya 1/134 scale models and get very detailed as well when I was younger with better eyesight. A+++ Those seatbelts blew me away.
i love the way you get all the detail to stand out no matter how small
Your attention to detail is amazing. I love all these things you custom make and add to the model - makes it so much more realistic and great looking!
This is awesome. I absolutely would have watched a 1h edit with all detailing as well :D Barely noticed how half an hour passed...
Great build! you're the first guy that I see who is capable to effectively use those positive decals, I also never did 1/32 scale aircraft, I think I should try. thanks for the video and for the inspiration.
Martin, I've been around a lot of gifted modelers but you have to be the most gifted I've ever seen. You make it look easy.
This is absolutely amazing, you have a gift for model making, i'm beyond impressed, and the FW 190-D9 is my fav aircraft ever from that era and you did an amazing job, well done !
David complains the model doesn’t have enough details....we jump for joy because that means we get to see a master craftsman at work!!! Another amazing job my friend, well done!!!!
Every time I see a message from CZcams with Plasmo, I cannot wait to get half an hour of free time to watch it.
Incredible detail. You make it look so easy, so it's great to hear that this actually took you two months to build. The homemade lathe is an ingenius idea; very few people have a modellers lathe but most folk have a drill or a Dremell ~ very clever.
Another masterpiece, full of "minor modifications". I love how the plastic is transformed into fabric, aluminium, steel, or whatever.👌
Great work David, love watching your techniques. There is something very special about getting an average kit and turning it into art...
Typical modeller: This set is terrible! No details, everything is flat! Nothing can be done with it!

My entire body itched when I tried modeling for the first time. Your videos however lays down this nice calm over me, I love it
Just the modification of the engine was awesome your skills just keep growing, exceptional work.Truly in awe as to extent of how you recreate all the extra bits and pieces. Inspiring thanks
Amazing result. You’re an artist.
Great scale, gorgeous aircraft, legendary modeller. I’m going to hit that like button after one second. Seriously though, thats some awesome work. Keep it up!
When art becomes a masterpiece 👌
Outstanding work as always David 👏
I had assembled near to 30 airplane maquettes in my youth, but never with this degree of detail, omg, amazing
Dear David, Amazing workmanship & painting! Kind Regards Johnny
Awesome model from the master of detail . I've really enjoyed watching this 😃👍 Thanks David
Very impressed with your skills! So much attention to detail and the courage to take risks with custom alterations.
You've also set a great example of having the right tools handy. Great job!! Love your videos.
Incredible result. Thanks for sharing!
Outstanding as always, you're an absolute elite level modeler.
Splendid, as always !
Folke Wulf 190 D is also my favorite aircraft of WW II. What an impressive work of art you create out of it.
The amount of time and accuracy you present is absolutely incredible. I admire your work and always look forward to seeing your videos in my recommended section.
The best Focker model I ever saw.
Focke-Wulf!

Melkiy Modeller....That's an interesting piece of history. Thank you.
I can't stress enough a sincere thank you for giving us the small details in the form of psi, product/ tool name, nozzle sizes, etc.. these are descriptions and tips we need. Thank you!
I have built this exact kit before, with all the proper paints and tools. My end result resembled what PLASMO's version would look like if he had to build it in the dark, using only Elmer's glue and crayons, hanging upside down, and using only one arm.
You are an artist. Beautiful rendition of a classic warbird.
Well done. You've added some great weathering tips. Thanks so much.
Beautiful David, the big scale brings out the details effortlessly.
I’ve been modeling for 10 years and this dude makes me feel like an infant
If you feel like an infant, I feel not born yet! Lol
You could mount that engine build as a stand alone piece, just to intimidate all your modeling friends. And me.
With this level of detail I almost expected to hear it run.
@@bagofchicken i was thinking the same :D
I hope i had modeling friends....
@@bagofchicken i was looking for this comment.
I just bought one of these sort of second hand and will be using your video as a one of my build guides. Thank you for making this video.
A true masterpiece! Thanks for your inspiring production.
With this level of skill, you should have been a heart surgeon
This is amazing. Even better than what they would have done for Hollywood films.
Fantastic job David - great to see you do a 1/32 kit, especially this one - I love the rivet application and "minor mods!" also like the oil painting, really good!
This is some next level stuff. Amazing build, detail, everything! Skill is unmatched
“Why I do this? I don’t know.” Plasmo 2020
so glad you started on 1:32. i can recommend revell spitfire mk24. its a newish kit with lots of details
I had to watch this to the end! It is really fascinating and the result is gobsmacking...
MY GOD THE DETAILS that s one incredible detailed model !! AWESOME WORK
Love the "Top Gear" style intro:-D
I didn't expect that favorite modeler would be doing my favorite model too good to be true...
BEST BUILDS ON THE INTERNET! Thanks again for the inspiration
I’m Speechless David thx for your time and effort. Loved every second
"...but no. So that means more work for me... " And that means an excellent custom build video for us 😄
Obsessive-compulsive just got redefined. This is beautiful.
Jsem šokován! Neuvěřitelně detailní a precizní práce! Jsem jen břídil...
I'm not even a modeller but watched your video. Your skills and attention to detail are amazing ! and I'm a surgeon
I am new here, this is absolutely amazing the attention to detail is incredible. I am not sure how his sanity is still intact after doing all those small pieces
Good model, god like weathering skills, great music, amazing! For you I will watch the whole 30 second ad
Now that is a compliment!
Possibly the very best, most realistic looking model especially the paint chips. Fantastic job!
Thank you for a masterclass in model making. Very informative and much appreciated.
Beautiful job David. I have the same opinion as you: the “long nose” FW-190’s were more attractive aircraft than the earlier versions. I think the TA-152C was the best looking of the FW-190 series.
"minor" modifications.... leaves me wondering what major modifications are.
Always a HUGE pleasure to watch you assembling, modifying, David. 👍
I think major modifications would probably be 100% scratch built, and still looking better than any kit. Or making it actually airworthy, while still looking as good as it does now.
You're drilling holes in parts I'd leave out because they would never be seen! Great work, I enjoy your videos👍
I always look forward to seeing what new ideas and techniques David comes up with!
Next do the Char B1 Bis (Tamiya) or the Char B2 2C (meng)! Either kit is awesome and French tank camouflage colors and patterns are really gorgeous
The tank never made it of the drawing table though

seu trabalho é maravilhoso deveria ter a oportunidade de expor seu trabalho na netflix
Very therapeutic to watch. Great work & you take the art of model making to a whole new level.
David, please take a bow. Magnificent modelling!
I hope a diorama is in the works for this one! Loved the video, wish it were even longer!
He did lol
