I live in burnley and visited townley hall so many times
Used to go to this place regular during my childhood visit's to my Grannies.
Same here...
Simon Entwistle's ghost tales are fantastic! Being from the US, these tales are new to me, and his storytelling really sets the mood.
Thank you very, very much Watcher. That means a lot to see we are reaching so far and wide. We are hoping to be out filming more ASAP as we are all having a bit of a holiday at the moment to recharge our batteries. :-)
The storytelling is the best you feel like you are right there I save all these vids for night 🙂
My great uncle comes from this family. He’s Richard townley
Totally Awesome! Just like the Loverboy song Lovin' Every Minute of it
Thanks RiffRaff Ben and Simon were given amazing post-lockdown access thanks to Simon's superb reputation.
It has produced some episodes we will likely never be able to film again due to the serenity of the filming days.

The Towneley family did not end in 1901 as Cosima Towneley is still alive & lives nearby Towneley Hall at Dyneley Hall or farm as I think it's called today.
I live in towneley :/
Near brunshaw and now I can't sleep
Isn't there a "ghost" of the person whos head was found in one of the walls
They say they walk the halls at night in a green iluminsent glow carrying their head
