[LG washing machines] How to connect the drain hose and installation

This video describes connecting the LG washing machine drain hose
Some useful tips for installation:
Remove the transport locks
To avoid damage during transport, to the basket or the pipes, there are specific blocks that you will find screwed to the outside of the appliance, usually at the rear. Before installing the washing machine, remove these stops with a spanner or a screwdriver and then close the holes with the special caps supplied: they are very important from a safety point of view because they prevent access to the internal parts of the washing machine.
Where and how to put it
There are three main things you need to install a washing machine.
- A connection to the electrical system with a large 16 amp socket, preferably equipped with a safety switch.
- A hydraulic connection for the inlet water which is used for washing.
- A plumbing connection for waste water, which is expelled from the washing machine through a hose at the end of the wash. A nearby sink or tub in which to place the pipe from which the water comes out is also fine.
*Usually the inlet hose is screwed onto a threaded tap (first image), which is then connected to the washing machine by fixing the other end of the hose into the appropriate sockets on the back (A)
If you are renovating your house and want to install thermal solar panels to heat the water, you might think of also preparing an inlet for the heated water from the system to which you can attach the washing machine, in order to save more on the bill (it will be necessary to buy a model that is also predisposed to the entry of water already at high temperatures).
Correct the position
After removing the blocks and connecting the washing machine to the electrical and plumbing outlets, its position must be corrected so that it is level: it is necessary to act on the adjustable feet so that they all adhere well to the floor.
An empty wash
It is always advisable to do the first wash empty, without laundry: it is a test-operation in which the electronic control systems of the washing machine calibrate themselves to then function without problems. Now you can start using your washing machine and remember: the old appliance must be taken to the shop where you buy the new one, or to an ecological pitch.
