      Ok, job done as you showed on your video and my 2003 PArk Avenue A/C module now lights up like brand new. There were 4 resistors that had come loose from the heat they generated. There is a brown color on the board by the resistors indicating high heat. All is well again.
      Thank you Bill!

    • @HowIDoItFaM
      @HowIDoItFaM  Před 2 lety

      Shiiiid Im not going to lie, I wasn't the most optimistic about it at first. After looking at the piece I realized that most of trimming had to be done on the lip portion. Kinda hard to explain, but you'll see what I'm talking about when you take that trim piece off.

    Cut and splice the first part of this video and you can make another video replacing lights/or stepper motors on the speedometer cluster panel. Replace lights with OEM or colored bulbs and replace stepper motors as all Buicks have one or more of the speedometer, heat or fuel gauges don't work right. Good video on fixing the heater display. Thanks.

    Funny thing about these Buicks is that they are reliably unreliable. The known issues happen at such similar mileages like clockwork. There's certainly things that aren't perfect about them, but you can almost always see it coming by paying attention to when the forums/youtubers say they are having that particular issue.

    • @HowIDoItFaM
      @HowIDoItFaM  Před 9 měsíci

      Crazy as it sounds it's a good thing from a mechanics prospective ( already knowing what's wrong) . Like you said Just like a clock work certain things are going to fail. Coolant elbows, window motors, display, coil packs...
