    Hi Adam, great video, thank you! (Should have had it a couple of years ago:D ). One question about inserting links to client websites in a guest post for someone. Writing guest posts for other bloggers, links are "neatly regulated", and I don't think adding external links to businesses is that common (?). When you do outreach, do you also negotiate the number of links, apart from back to your own blog/site, to include in the guest post in the process? Thanks! :)

    • @CHMARKHELMEHDI
      @CHMARKHELMEHDI Před 9 měsíci +2

      Hi there! It's great to hear that you found the video helpful, although I should clarify that I'm not Adam, but I'm here to assist you with your question.
      When it comes to writing guest posts for other bloggers or websites, the inclusion of external links to businesses can vary depending on several factors, and it's not uncommon to negotiate the number and type of links in the process. Here are some considerations:
      Guest Post Guidelines: Many websites have specific guidelines for guest posts, including their linking policy. Some sites may allow one or two external links to relevant and high-quality sources or businesses, while others may have more stringent rules. It's important to review these guidelines before pitching your guest post.
      Relevance: The links you include should be relevant to the content of your guest post. If you're writing about a topic that naturally involves mentioning or referencing a specific business or resource, it's more likely that your link will be accepted. Irrelevant or overly promotional links are typically discouraged.
      Quality: The quality of the external links matters. Ensure that the websites you're linking to are reputable, authoritative, and provide value to the readers. Low-quality or spammy links can harm your credibility and the credibility of the host website.
      Negotiation: During the outreach and negotiation process, you can discuss the number and type of links you plan to include in your guest post. Some website owners may have a preference for the number of links, while others may be more flexible. It's important to strike a balance between promoting your content or business and providing value to the host site's audience.
      Disclosure: It's essential to be transparent about the links you include. If you're including a link to a business or resource that you have a financial interest in (such as affiliate marketing), you should disclose this relationship. Failing to do so can damage trust with both the host site and its readers.
      Anchor Text: Be mindful of the anchor text you use for external links. Use descriptive and natural anchor text that fits seamlessly into the context of your content.
      Ultimately, successful guest posting involves building mutually beneficial relationships with other bloggers or website owners. Communication and negotiation regarding link placement and other details are essential for a positive outcome. Always respect the guidelines and preferences of the host website while aiming to provide valuable content to their audience.

  • @Soccer5se
    @Soccer5se Před 10 měsíci

    When it comes to reaching out for guest posts or link partnerships, I've noticed an interesting trend. It seems like a vast majority of the websites within my niche request payment in exchange for the opportunity to contribute a guest post. While I completely understand that links hold significant value, it's worth noting that I'm essentially putting in the effort to create valuable content for their platform. So should I pay the $30-$100 for that one link, or should I keep searching for different opportunities?

    • @CHMARKHELMEHDI
      @CHMARKHELMEHDI Před 9 měsíci +2

      The decision of whether to pay for a guest post opportunity, particularly when many websites within your niche request payment, depends on several factors and your specific goals. Here are some considerations to help you make an informed decision:
      Budget: Consider your budget and how much you're willing to invest in acquiring backlinks. While paying for guest posts can be a legitimate strategy, it can add up quickly if you're targeting multiple websites. Ensure that the cost aligns with your overall marketing budget.
      Value Assessment: Evaluate the potential value of the backlink. Is the website reputable and authoritative in your niche? Will the link likely drive targeted traffic to your site? Will it positively impact your search engine rankings? Assess whether the potential benefits outweigh the cost.
      Quality of Content: Ensure that you're providing high-quality content that offers value to the host website's audience. If you're paying for a guest post, it's crucial that the content meets the website's standards and provides value to their readers.
      Link Diversity: Relying solely on paid guest posts for backlinks may not be the best long-term strategy. It's essential to maintain a diverse backlink profile with a mix of earned, organic, and paid links. Over-reliance on paid links can raise red flags with search engines.
      Alternative Opportunities: Explore other opportunities for acquiring backlinks. Look for websites that accept guest posts without payment or consider other link-building strategies such as creating linkable assets, participating in industry collaborations, or leveraging your own network for backlink opportunities.
      Negotiation: If you're interested in a specific website but hesitant about the cost, you can try negotiating with the website owner. Sometimes, they may be open to alternative arrangements, such as a lower fee, reciprocal linking, or a combination of payment and content exchange.
      Long-Term Strategy: Consider your long-term goals. While paying for guest posts can yield short-term benefits, think about how it fits into your overall SEO and content strategy. Building organic relationships and earning backlinks through high-quality content is often a more sustainable approach.
      Risk Assessment: Be cautious about websites that openly sell links, especially if they don't disclose paid content properly. Search engines like Google may penalize websites for participating in paid link schemes that violate their guidelines.
      In summary, paying for guest posts can be a valid strategy, but it should be done judiciously and as part of a broader link-building approach. Assess the potential benefits, costs, and risks carefully, and consider whether there are alternative opportunities to acquire backlinks. Balance your budget with your long-term SEO goals and focus on providing value through your content, regardless of whether it's paid or organic.

I would think a lot, since that is more money than a lot of people working full time make. I mean the average income for a paralegal is $52,000 a year. Just get one customer. Rank them for multiple keywords ASAP. Then you can get other customers. Trust me I did this and it works. You must cold call to get your first few customers. I mean if you are scared of calling customers who cares if they say no. There are literally hundreds of thousands of customers waiting for you to help. Do yourself a favor. First few months don't get more than 2 clients. Learn as much as possible meaning SEO. Rank them and the other customers will see this and give you a better chance of landing them. DO NOT charge a small fee for your services. They will take advantage of you and trust me on this...the smaller the amount your client pays the bigger pain in the ass they will be.

      Thats called a PBN and as I remember in the days a Google update dealt serious punishments for sites linking to PBNs. Had to be created with different IPs hosted on different servers etc. People went to great length to hide the tracks from google. Bro you say “consulting” make you thousands per month but don’t explain how…. If you’re just starting who is going to pay to you consult them … how will they even find you.
    And then you show the “new path” but all of that especially affiliate marketing requires you to be ranked high on specific keywords in your niche. Which is very hard to do. I think the video is misleading. You need to let people know they will have to write a blog post and hope it ranks and THEN if they can get it ranked THEN they can sell via affiliate links

    • @AdamEnfroy
      @AdamEnfroy  Před 6 měsíci +1

      You can teach yourself different types of consulting within a simple 30 day timeframe. We've had BGE students without experience take the course, learn blog content writing and SEO, and then get clients either to write for or to do link building for very quickly. Now, you're not gonna get a bunch of people finding your blog in 30 days from inbound organic traffic - that's too quick. The strategy more relies on you having a website and doing your own outreach on LinkedIn and via email. Your blog is more of a sales page at that point, not a typical blog.
      For example, you could learn basic SEO principles that we teach (and if you learn this new stuff you'll be better than most people). Then you plan your offering (your highly specific service within SEO), target a specific vertical market (dentists for example), find all of them on LinkedIn or another business directory, do your own outreach via LinkedIn or email offering your services, and close a client or two. The truth is, no, an individual isn't going to get a big client like Shopify or Nike to hire them - they have big budgets and huge agencies to do their marketing. But small local businesses, ecommerce brands, and small SaaS companies do hire individuals to do simple services for them - content writing, content strategy, link building, outreach, etc. The more niche and specific you are in your target market and offer, the easier it is.

I can see Adam’s point about contacting small businesses in your area that might want to take a chance on a newbie with writing content, but that sounds more like lead generation to me.
