Ive always known Dobies to be naturally gentle & kind. Much like Labrador, Golden Retriever, & G. Shepherd. Wow! Never imagined one as a farm dog, though. _A c c o l a d e s_ to the owner for broadcasting such terrific interaction
+Justin Ruim Fortunately even if it did, I'm pretty sure chickens CAN eat chicken, however gross the concept is. A bit of meat isn't actually bad for them.
Ain't that the truth. That dobie's endless gentleness is endearing. One snap of my husky's jaws, however, guarantees my chickens wont get anywhere near him again until well after suppertime has ended. He'll let them drink water from his dish while he's drinking, but not the food 🐶❤🐔
When I was younger we had chickens and one was blind in one eye which made it harder for to eat so one of our German shepards allways made sure she could eat by pushing the food right under her so she would not miss the food. The dogs name was Shane and the chickens name was Henrieta.
When I was young my uncle took a chicken to kill for dinner and chopped its head off with a axe but the chicken was running around with noo head, I was never normal after that.
I think the dog was very patient and gave a few minor indications that "this is my food, stay away" but never in an overly aggressive manner like other dog breeds might have. I love the Doberman Pinscher. It's a patient and loyal breed and is great with kids.
Yea if you keep a dog well fed mine always have food in bowl and never pick at it about food this is what you get a well mannered dog I can reach down and pick up the food any time. He is definitely slightly agitated and if allow to happen longer it wouldn't end great
I think giving a dog all-time food access gives the owner less control on volume, obedience and habitus. This looks like he doesn’t get food all day and still shares playfully. Which makes it even more fun to watch
Old as this is, it never gets old to see how precious these animals are... How much grayer would life be without them? Like people, teach them love & they return it 10x. My only real complaint is they leave us far too soon. 15 years for my little toy poodle...😢 I love you, my Cookie girl... I miss you & your cuddles so very much!😌
Nope. It was my mistake. I should have let him kill all the little shits, taken him out of the yard, and never said anything. They'd probably think the Chupacabra did it. They were Mexican. Unfortunately I had to pay for the vet bills to save their lives and they didn't insist on putting my dog down. I only say this because those poor things lived in horrible conditions and probably could have called animal services on them. Torin was putting them out of their misery.
I grew up with a doberman. He was wonderful. A great family pet and guard dog. He was very loving and obedient. We did not crop his ears or tail. He looked like the true hound that is the Doberman.
I don't know man. When neighbor's chicken came to eat from my Deutscher Pinscher's bowl, it was the last thing that chicken saw :). These guys were very lucky to be around very kind Doberman :).
The order was given to turn cows into Whoppers. Enforced by the might of 10,000 Coppers. But on the horizon surrounding the shoppers - came the deafening roar of Chickens on Choppers!
Chisom Ololo yes. When trained and treated properly they are nice dogs. Ive had 3 over the years and while they were excellent guard dogs, they were great with kids and animals.
I don't understand why people don't treat chicken as a pet.chickens are so lovable animal😘(I have a pet she is so cute and smart ),even they need love and care. Loyal dog. 😍
Aaron's right, you know. Its high maintenance keeping their cage clean, since they produce so much more waste than other birds. But, to each her own. If the extra work is worth it to you keeping your chicken in the house, then it must be. One thing for certain is your hen cant hurt you with that beak like a parrot or a cockatoo can. Eventually most cockatoo & parrot owners let their birds have free rein of the house (out of the cage) during suppertime or while their watching TV. And those birds do like to get mischeivous, sneak up on people & bite them ❤🐔
I had 2 beautiful dobermans and they were truly loyal and loving, and they both played so lovely together. Both lived a long time and we had many wonderful moments together. This doggie is so cute, and he is so gentle with those chickens - it's bought back lots of lovely memories.
Had it figured out. Every time the dog eats, it slips in to grab a few. Dog's preoccupied with the mouth full of food so it can slide in and exit.. every single time 🤣
It's a fact that the social periods for dogs stem from 3 weeks until 12! at this age and if the owner keeps going the way she is going this is this dogs nature set! He won't just start attacking animals
shan I have owned 3 Dobes and they've all been the same in their tolerant nature with other animals.... that puppy is more likely to get better not worse. Regards Ian
Apparently the chicken does not realize that it could be the next meal. It is amazing how much aggressiveness has been bred out of dogs to allow them to tolerate this, especially a Doberman, which is not a timid breed. Both that doberman and that chicken know that he could snap that chicken's neck in a half of a second.
+skin09588 it's more instinctual that intelligent. they see food being eaten, they scavenge. that's it. all animal instinctually know to go mooch off of other animals. like a newborn baby instinctually knows to swim when set into water.
like ceaser has always said, it's the owner, not the breed that causes problems with dogs. dogs are social animals. I have a 130lbs German shepherd and she lays on the floor and plays with two cats...
Really? So it's not instinct when a retriever chases after a stick, but all due to the owner? We have no problem pointing out the instincts of an animal when they are benign. While a German shepherd is fine, there are dogs like pitbulls with the instinct to do harm. A better way to put it, is bad owners bring that instinct out and good owners keep it suppressed. A bad owner doesn't create that instinct.
+snow man "While a German shepherd is fine, there are dogs like pitbulls with the instinct to do harm." Complete and utter bullshit. Which dog is used more by law enforcement and military when aggression is needed? Pitbulls are no more likely to attack than any other dog, but are more likely to have other breeds misclassified as them in reports of attacks(hence the high numbers). Guess what? More people are bitten by small dogs than Pitbulls. The most aggressive dog I have ever met was a fucking Cocker Spaniel. You are just spouting nonsense.
The statistics speak for themselves. Like I said, if a dog's instincts are benign, like a retriever or a sheepdog, no one has any problem discussing its instincts. But an owner of a dog with instincts that are destructive, suddenly it's all due to the owner. Yes small dogs do attack too, but here is just one article I pulled up about the truth: "A five-year review of dog-bite injuries from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, published in 2009 in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, found that almost 51 percent of the attacks were from pit bulls, almost 9 percent were from Rottweilers and 6 percent were from mixes of those two breeds. In other words, a whopping two-thirds of the hospital's dog-attack injuries involved just two breeds, pit bulls and Rottweilers. Other studies confirm these statistics: A 15-year study published in 2009 in the American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology revealed that pit bulls, Rottweilers and German shepherds were responsible for the majority of fatal dog attacks in the state of Kentucky. And a 2011 study from the Annals of Surgery revealed that "attacks by pit bulls are associated with higher morbidity rates, higher hospital charges and a higher risk of death than are attacks by other breeds of dogs." The authors of that 2011 study go on to say, "Strict regulation of pit bulls may substantially reduces the U.S. mortality rates related to dog bites." I bet you're going to say this is all due to bad owners. Well, bad owners have all sorts of breeds, so if it's due to owners, we ought to see a more even distribution of dogs, but we don't. It continues: "Some states and cities have acted on the research: The state of Maryland has determined that pit bulls are "inherently dangerous" and all owners are liable for any injuries they cause, according to the Baltimore Sun. Even the U.S. Army has acknowledged that pit bulls are high-risk dogs; they are therefore prohibited in some military housing units. Pit bulls join several other breeds on the list of dogs that are recognized as more likely to attack and cause significant injury: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention analyzed data and found the following breeds are implicated in a majority of dog-bite fatalities: Pit bulls Rottweilers German shepherds Huskies Wolf hybrids Malamutes Doberman pinschers Chow-chows Saint Bernards Great Danes It's worth noting that no matter how these data are arranged - mixed breeds versus pure breeds, injuries versus fatalities - pit bulls consistently rank at the top of the list for attacks, and by a wide margin. Why don't you contact them all and give them your expert opinion about why they are so wrong about pitbulls?

The chicken is like Yo Bro do you gonna have some spare food for a black brotha? You know we homeboys have to stay close in a world where still the white chicken has all the powa
I have chickens...and a Doberman. Ever since I brought my Doberman home as a puppy, I immediately mixed him in with the chickens...every day. Today, he is 20 months old and he just walks among the chickens. Neither bother each other. However, I did train him to "round up" the chickens at the end of the day and get them back in their chicken run/coop, which he loves to do. However, like the Doberman in this video, he would share his food...it's just his nature. He was never trained to do that.
Goggle products no thats fake news, the truth is that the earth is like a cucumber thats is being shortened until it is completely gone. Soon we will be the last humans watching the end of the human race. Your comment is utterly disrespectful and misinformed. We need to wake up now and think of a solution so the sun stops eating our cucumber earth. Or we may all die a slow painful death.
I'm getting a Doberhound this weekend (4mo) and I have 16 chickens. This makes me feel a bit more at ease. Of course, the pup will never be left unsupervised with my chooks! What a good pupper!
This is what that means a smart dog. He shares his food with the chicken with whom he live.if it was a foreign ticken then he might be acting diffently
One of our 3 dogs is a rescued 4 1/2 y.o. male Basenji who is very particular about someone else eating out of his dish while he is eating. That ol' biddy hen would have been sent packing the very first time she approached his bowl!!! (And no, PETA people, I wouldn't have stopped Jakkee from showing her some manners.) If she refused to learn, oh well!!! Let the feathers fly where they may!!! 🐕
+SharkAcademy They'll keep eating until they throw up sometimes. Granted not all dogs are such piggies but they certainly can be. Just because they're looking for food doesn't mean they're currently in a need for it. Often it means they need a diet xD
Nobody said it yet? Well.. Of course it had to be the black chicken stealing the dog's food. Heck it might've been chicken biscuit at that! I'll show myself out now...

The ear is really irritating me. I just want to reach in and flip it back the right way.
OMG ikr lsa
It's his ear. He does what he wants with it.😂
Clever the chicken ..hehehe ! The doberman was in good mood. Loved it !
Amazing video. I appreciate people sharing their pet videos to brighten my day.
hahahhaha awesome 2:40, right through his legs!
right
Couldn't help but burst into laughter when that happened.
that black Chicken is really Smart.
You mean the big one with four legs and an inside-out ear?
The chicken is like
Yo Bro do you gonna have some spare food for a black brotha? You know we homeboys have to stay close in a world where still the white chicken has all the powa
lol was just gonna say, he only lets him close cuz he's a bother
Hey, the brotha was being a little greedy but in his defense he did say what up dawg first lol.
I think the dog was pretty chill considering what he could have done to those thieving chickens.
Anyone else waiting for him to tear the chicken apart?
Sure was...must of been raised around Chickens since a pup.
Yes
I CERTAINLY was. I've had more-than-a-few chicken killing dogs. They never seem to get over it.
Nah, I honestly have no idea why these dogs are on the dangerous breed list.
Hahahaha. The Hen ran underneath him and ate some food. Sweet doberman with a great temperament.
A domesticated wolf encounters miniature dinosaurs.
Poe's law is strong with your comment @Goggle products
Goggle products Shut up google, I ain't buying Google home and have the NSA, CIA, and other motherfuckers spy my ass 24/7.
Uncle Putin amazing. Every word you just said was wrong.
looks like chicken dinner for the dog which was being fed with dog food, irony!
I'm getting a Doberhound this weekend (4mo) and I have 16 chickens. This makes me feel a bit more at ease. Of course, the pup will never be left unsupervised with my chooks!
What a good pupper!
I want to see the dog snap
@@brandonsimmons336 😂😂😂😂
The chickens don't want to see that! Haha!
What a wonderful dog and a cheeky chicken he couldve had her for dinner if he wanted to
Hey brother, we the same color we cool right!?
LMAO IM DED ALL THESE COMMENTS YOO XDDD
LOL!!!
+TheBishop12 lol, that made me laugh!
TheBishop12 "Yeah brother, fuck those other light grey one!
BLACK POWER🙅🏿♂️
Damn I was waiting on him to eat the chicken
SAME
She'Myia Malone me to you see how the chicken went between the dog legs
She'Myia Malone you are beautiful and sexy 😘😘😘😘💯💯💯💯💯💯
aye you tha same one from that deer video
This is what that means a smart dog. He shares his food with the chicken with whom he live.if it was a foreign ticken then he might be acting diffently
I've tried with "hocus pocus" to flick back the ear, but it seems like it needs a surgeon specialist to adjust the ear.
Moral of the Story:
A doberman with a mouth fulled of food cant cause fear in a chicken.
Between his legs cracked me up so hard 😂😂😂
TheOfficialSamoan Stoner it was a great move !
TheOfficialSamoan Stoner pun intended?
TheOfficialSamoan Stoner that's where i lost it to haha.
Hahah that was hilarious! Cheeky chicken 😂
Right!! 🤣
Isn’t one of the ingredient in dog food chicken?
IF U THINK CHICKENS DON'T EAT CHICKENS YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ON A FARM. THEY EAT DEAD CHICKENS FEATHERS AND ALL
JomoDaMusicMan k den
sshhhh u know nothing. here 💰 just forget it ok
depends if you buy dog food with chicken as the protein(etc) source.
Chickens will fuck other chickens up then eat them.
I like that the ears on him are still floppy. I love those sweet ears!
The Doberman truly is a guard and sentry type! LOL guarding the bowl so the chicken buddy can eat also.
This shows why Dobermans make the best large family dogs!!! Love 'em…
Yep, they really are sweet dogs. Their reputation is really undeserved. Our next dog will probably be another Dobie.
Nope 🙅 great dane is calmer than dob so dob is a little aggressive
That chicken is SAVAGE
That is one sweet Doberman love to watch this love the reaction of them both
Haha I would watch it.
H i l a r i o u s a s h e l l ! 😂😂😂
What a smart dog.
I hope he got more food, he looked hungry at the end.
+SharkAcademy
dogs are always hungry lol
+SharkAcademy They'll keep eating until they throw up sometimes. Granted not all dogs are such piggies but they certainly can be. Just because they're looking for food doesn't mean they're currently in a need for it. Often it means they need a diet xD
Nobody said it yet? Well..
Of course it had to be the black chicken stealing the dog's food. Heck it might've been chicken biscuit at that!
I'll show myself out now...
You sir just made my day lol!
HDL is taking over the intrawebs c:
the dog is black too EHEEEEEEEE
LOLOLOLOLOL
Looters!
Dobb looks like it can't believe their fricken eyes the audacity of that chick.

Gaming heroes one question why were u paying attention to that?
Im going to get a sty just from looking at that. Ahhaa
The fuck
Guess you could say he’s “laying an egg”
Logan B
No he was shitting
The black chicken, the white chicken, and the spanish chicken
How adorably cute, good on ya doggy for not ripping the hen apart.
Beautiful vid! Cute dobbie, My Dobermans are just as harmless but they don't let anythone mess with their chow except me.
Is that chicken flavour dog food?
Joe Schmuckatelli probably, chickens are cannibals
Nope. Chickens are actually cannibals. They will literally eat each other.
Kasey Doka I had 5 chicks and a chicken, a dog killed the mother and one of the littlest. The rest carved on their corpses.
Manuel Otero Perez nice 😂
Joe Schmuckatelli k
Chicken knew every time when it was safe to come in because the dog was chewing and wouldn't use his teeth.
The whole videos he’s like “Can you fucking not?”
This may be the most peace-loving dog I’ve ever seen.
