I have several shows I love and about 3 that are in my heart. But The 100 is ranked #1 of all of them. #2 being another CW network show, Supernatural ♥︎
I enjoyed both. I think what turned most people away from the beginning of the 100 is that is was a bunch of kids and everyone thought it was stupid. Well that's what people told me personally anyway. But they soon mature and turns into an amazing show
I have watched both of them recently but I gotta admit GOT is way better than The 100. This Series had so much potential but bad decisions throughout the seasons let it down.
TBF I understand why GOT got more hype than the 100, because The storyline and plot of the 100 dipped greatly in S6 because of which Majority of its fan base dropped the series and at that time GOT had released its S8 which had more or less Okayish storyline till that point so the shift.. I personally loved The 100 till S5 and dropped it in S6 and didnt bother watching it until Late 2021 (and I had been only been regretting watching the last two seasons anyways).. So I know That 100 S6 and GOT S8 were released in the same year and since 100's S6 was soooo terrible people went to watch GOT (which spoiler alert: Butchered its S8 as well :\ so rip)

This cycle only exists in the creator's facist mind. This series is entertaining but the violence in it is so nonsensical it's even shocking how gratuitous it is. It's so ridiculous it breaks suspension of disbelief repeatedly. I think the creator, either Jason Rothenberg either Kass Morgan, has a facist complex they didn't identify inside themselves. They love this "my people" conendrum way too much, creating tons of death situations where any sensible educated people would have never even thought of murder as a possible way. Yet, over and over we see nazi-type murders going on in that series. Killing as a way to solve math problems.

I couldn't understand what sort of excuse was this. This is exactly what defines us and not how we are in our 'good' days when everything is fine.
God this show is such a safe place for me. I've finished it and it feels like somethings gone. I can watch it all over again but it will never be the same. I will never fall in love with characters for the first time again, I will never struggle to fall asleep because I want to know what will happen next, I will never cry my soul out because I think someones dead just to find out they're not. The 100 is the best show out there. I know this may seem biased but if you think about it its a 10/10. It's plot, cinematography, acting, and character development is all incredible. It embraces every part of loss, love, pain, power, creation and destruction.

If only Bellamy's death had more importance, he was so so so important and did everything he could for his family... if he had to die, it shouldn't have been at the hands of his best friend, it shouldn't have been in vain... If Jason can explain properly how Bellamy's death moved the plot forward and established an important message, I am all ears. I do not accept his answer that this show is meant to show darkness and that surviving is hard, because Bellamy did survive up till season 6 and he would have survived if Clarke chose to shoot him anywhere else, chose to fight him instead of kill him... he could be severely hurt at the end of the day but once transcendence occurs, everyone will realize he's right and apologize and he'll be loved once more... he died thinking everyone hated him... he died alone... I can't accept that, Jason. I need a better answer than "The show is abut surviving and not everyone survives". I love this edit tho ❤️
This is exactly how I feel! His death was meaningless, it wasn't emotional, it was just shocking. I wonder what the point of Bellamy's story was for it to end like this. I really wish he would be alive in the end.
I know! Bellamy was easily the most complex character on the show (the only slight competition is Murphy which was also amazing) he has the best arc by far as well. Like I don't understand how they could just kill him like that with no context and just have him change in one episode after climbing one stupid mountain... Like what it doesn't make any sense. I would understand maybe needing to kill him off but I mean whyyyyy do it in the way that they did? I just don't get it
Without Bellamy's death transcendence wouldn't have occurred. He was a martyr. Octavia explained that Bellamy died believing that transcendence was in reach, and for that he could never have it. That was what convinced the Disciples to stand down. In a way, it could be argued that Bellamy's death saved everyone.
John Murphy is my favorite character on the whole show...he's so malleable but is able to retain his personality. Like dont get me wrong I love Octavia and Clarke but at times I feel like they really lost themselves especially with onecru and wanhedda.
unfortunately it was only after 6 years that I discovered this series that changed my life and will always be part of it,I'll always recommend it to everyone, after I'm sure it will change their lives as it changed mine,legends never die. sad happier and grateful for everything.😭❤️
One of the strongest casts I’ve ever seen. They made The 100 special and I will treasure them and the characters they portrayed forever. In fact, they became bigger than the programme itself.

I liked the 100 because of that special feeling in the first seasons, later it felt like another show especially when it got more crazy than landing ~42 billion light years away from earth and meet other people and these people use beccas tech too, kryo didn't age them at all and than on Bardo (I think we don't know where bardo is, but it can be real far away) these people who are the last humans except the other 2 groups exist and in season 6 they started with "anomaly" and in season 7 it was known that different planets had extreme different time dilatations... invisible guys, if wearing suits/helmet and online also having laser, extreme fast reaction (like when Sheidheda tries to kill the "Shepherd" after he visited sanctum, maybe for the first time? but especially his kryo with only every 20 years update about the key makes "sense", how the hell should they find the key in "over 1.000 years" (thats how long they are studying the text, also bill talked about passing "centuries" to gabriel, but for gabriel I think it have been 228 years or so since the bombs, on bardo seems more, and on penance I guess so much time passed there that a species could have developed like we did in the last 4000 years or so...they would have even much more times, more than only ten thousand years, more like 50 to 100k... but yea at least the flame played a role and I still hope for the backdoor pilot being accepted as a prequel spin-off by cw... its very different since we know most answers but still I would like to see the early days, also jason said in an interview after "Anaconda" that flashbacks would play a much more important role on that series, means maybe some more scenes about the world in 2052 with the 11th billion human born at the day of the bombs/"praimfaya"
I thank this show for helping me discover my sexuality- I’m Bi, and It was so hard understanding why I had attractions to women, I always suppressed it, pretending I was straight- but Lexa and Clarke made me see how woman on woman love can be beautiful. Not to mention that the whole cast list was gorgeous.
Loved the show from start to end.! Was hooked to it and watched last 5 seasons without break. Wish Madi , Bellamy , Lexa & Lincoln had different ending! Loved Clark and all she gave for her friends & family. True Respect! Cried a lot! Enjoyed a lot! May we meet again!
I still didn't get what happened with bellamy on that planet, it was so weird the character he changed into having not changed his heart toward his people it was so weird it needed explanation but kind of sad the way he died

Bellamy's death was the stupidest thing in the show. There were thousands of better endings, several death endings without Clark pulling that trigger. Even his sister would be a better choice for that. Clark would NEVER pull that trigger. That ALL FOR MY CHILD thing they forced upon her wasn't easy to digest. The Last War could have been the best part of the show... but it was frustrating.
I agree. Clarke is my favorite but devoting her entire character to be a protective mother is annoying, and it was disrespectful to her character. Bellamy should not have died that way

One more treason of Clarke to Bellamy. Well, of Clarke and everybody. Maybe Murphy and Emory could believe him. And obviously Jordan would explain him what was the real message.
There’s no way of knowing where the story would have gone had Lincoln not died. Octavia wouldn’t have became Bloodraina or led the people to the valley. They would have all died on Earth. Same thing for Bellamy. If he lived there wouldn’t have been the last war for Raven to disprove and they wouldn’t have been able to transcend because the Shepherd would have ruined it.
This show had so much meaning to it. So many lessons were taught. Every single factor in this show. The character development was incredible, people finding another that changes them for the great or good (like Clarke did for Lexa). The grieving between characters and getting over the hardships, learning from mistakes, continuing to push no matter how hard it gets. The drastic decisions. Don’t forget the representation of the lgbtq+ community. The whole show is amazing now that I come to think of it now that it’s over.

When Lexa told Clarke that her friends came back for her and that humans taught the higher beings so much already, she should have said "After all, there is more than just surviving" as a call back to Clarke/Lexa/Madi saying it in the past. Clarke's friends chose to live, instead of just surviving

I know, this is ridiculous, tv shows come and go but this one will say with me forever, so thank you... you were not just actors, you were a part of my life and will forever be a part of me.
The quote is quite legendary. I really liked this show for the first 5-6 seasons, i found S7, very oddly written. From all this fantasy-scifi has thrown at us, S7 realy went wáy over the top imho. PS: Bellamy's death made NO sense at all....

I feel like clarke is hated to much in her own series (she's the main character) like honestly, she's been through more then any othe character. She's lost everyone she's ever loved but madi and she does things that end up with her hurting to save everyone she loves. She got left on earth to save the rest of them, she's made the hardest decisions out of everyone and yet she still blames herself for everything. She loses everyone she gets attached to. She's genuinely been threw hell and back. Clarke deserved a better ending. (EDIT) Dang- did yall realise this started with "I feel" as in its MY opinion.

Not only Bellamy. Seeing that happy end, it made me cry for Jasper, who became so cynical he died for it, and for Monty, who couldn’t be there. Their friendship was my favorite part of the show. I just imagined them both high fiving one last time on that beach. When you feel :) and :( at the same time, that’s when life hits you. Many people didn’t like the 100, but for some reason I loved it just for the little things, such as the Monty-Jasper friendship or the Emori-Murphy romance, and also the weird cult like groups ( Jaha, Sanctum, ...) that made the universe feel more alive and mysterious.

We've seen many stupid deaths in the series, like: Wells, Lincoln, Lexa, Sean, Kane and last, Bellamy(Those are the ones I remember), Gaia almost left too. Most of them had some problems that were disrupting their work in the series, be it schedule problems, be it personal problems or problems with Jason, yeah. And we totally can understand that, because, they're humans, and they have problems so as we have. But, it's extremely sad to see the impacts of the real life choices on the fiction, because Clarke would NEVER kill Bellamy like that, never; she'd try everything to garantee his life, then, it's quite obvious that Bob Morley was dealing with some personal problems, or something with Jason. That is such a sad thing, a really sad thing, because Bellamy stayed until the 7th season to die that way. It's unbelievable doing that to Clarke's and Bellamy's characters. And how could Madi forgo living with Clarke because there aren't children of her age there? I don't know man. It's compreehensible, but It was weird. So, definitely I am thankful to this series, and I am happy to see they've gotten happy endings. However... They already did a fanciful plot in the end, they at least could do reasonable things, not like that. Well, whatever. I'll miss The 100 forever. I loved to be able to see Lexa again, even if wasn't her.

The only "stupid" death was Bellamy, because it didn't have any consequences. When Lincoln died, Octavia became strong. Wells die by revenge, even it was his father action. ETC. We have to accept that sometimes, heroes must dies... when a show never kill them, it's too much predictible and too "nice".

Nah you just dont like your faves dying lincoln died for his people how is not a great way to end and it also did wonders for Octavia character development, Luna Along with finn represented the point of no return and how far a person can be pushed. Lexa being short was put of nowhere but ig you took time to actually analyse the story it fit within the context it also did wonders for clarke character as well it helped us find out more about the flame and how to stop allie. Lexa was never forgotten by Clarke. If you only focused on the story and understand this is a story driven show and no character is safe you will see how great these deaths were done. But I dont think you can see outside one view, you're annoyed your fav characters died.
And also best believe that clarke would definetly kill Bellamy for madi. The Clarke before madi would not kill bellamy the Clarke after madi most definetly would. She tried to do it once already in s5 and at that point I would say clarke was in the wrong madi wasnt in immediate danger and she said it was a big regret. However this is a brainwashed bellamy and it this point madi life was in immediate danger as we saw they were not gonna stop to get her. And if you dont think that brainwashed Bellamy would not KILL madi or watch her die to get the code, then I dont know what to say. Clarke spent 6 years with madi longer than she has spent with anyone on the show. Daughter or best friend. Yeah not to difficult.

this ending was crap. As for Bellamy no matter how much we liked him , I think the show runner hated him. From the start , because he's gullable and weak. I hated the all last season.

The 100 is the best show out there. I know this may seem biased but if you think about it its a 10/10. It's plot, cinematography, acting, and character development is all incredible. It embraces every part of loss, love, pain, power, creation and destruction.

Man, it feels so wrong that Abby and Bellamy didn't live enough to be with them at the end.
If only Bellamy's death had more importance, he was so so so important and did everything he could for his family... if he had to die, it shouldn't have been at the hands of his best friend, it shouldn't have been in vain... If Jason can explain properly how Bellamy's death moved the plot forward and established an important message, I am all ears. I do not accept his answer that this show is meant to show darkness and that surviving is hard, because Bellamy did survive up till season 6 and he would have survived if Clarke chose to shoot him anywhere else, chose to fight him instead of kill him... he could be severely hurt at the end of the day but once transcendence occurs, everyone will realize he's right and apologize and he'll be loved once more... he died thinking everyone hated him... he died alone... I can't accept that, Jason. I need a better answer than "The show is abut surviving and not everyone survives".

I know! Bellamy was easily the most complex character on the show (the only slight competition is Murphy which was also amazing) he has the best arc by far as well. Like I don't understand how they could just kill him like that with no context and just have him change in one episode after climbing one stupid mountain... Like what it doesn't make any sense. I would understand maybe needing to kill him off but I mean whyyyyy do it in the way that they did? I just don't get it

Without Bellamy's death transcendence wouldn't have occurred. He was a martyr. Octavia explained that Bellamy died believing that transcendence was in reach, and for that he could never have it. That was what convinced the Disciples to stand down. In a way, it could be argued that Bellamy's death saved everyone.

John Murphy is my favorite character on the whole show...he's so malleable but is able to retain his personality. Like dont get me wrong I love Octavia and Clarke but at times I feel like they really lost themselves especially with onecru and wanhedda.
His whole vibe was amazing. His jokes in intense situations just made the show way better. John Murphy’s character development was the best.
he totally redeemed himself in the end..i'm pretty sure we will see a lot more of these actors in the near future.

For a show that changed me and for characters that became family, i have to say this is the best summary ive ever seen.
One of the strongest casts I’ve ever seen. They made The 100 special and I will treasure them and the characters they portrayed forever. In fact, they became bigger than the programme itself.

I liked the 100 because of that special feeling in the first seasons, later it felt like another show especially when it got more crazy than landing ~42 billion light years away from earth and meet other people and these people use beccas tech too, kryo didn't age them at all and than on Bardo (I think we don't know where bardo is, but it can be real far away) these people who are the last humans except the other 2 groups exist and in season 6 they started with "anomaly" and in season 7 it was known that different planets had extreme different time dilatations... invisible guys, if wearing suits/helmet and online also having laser, extreme fast reaction (like when Sheidheda tries to kill the "Shepherd" after he visited sanctum, maybe for the first time?
but especially his kryo with only every 20 years update about the key makes "sense", how the hell should they find the key in "over 1.000 years" (thats how long they are studying the text, also bill talked about passing "centuries" to gabriel, but for gabriel I think it have been 228 years or so since the bombs, on bardo seems more, and on penance I guess so much time passed there that a species could have developed like we did in the last 4000 years or so...they would have even much more times, more than only ten thousand years, more like 50 to 100k... but yea at least the flame played a role and I still hope for the backdoor pilot being accepted as a prequel spin-off by cw... its very different since we know most answers but still I would like to see the early days, also jason said in an interview after "Anaconda" that flashbacks would play a much more important role on that series, means maybe some more scenes about the world in 2052 with the 11th billion human born at the day of the bombs/"praimfaya"

I thank this show for helping me discover my sexuality- I’m Bi, and It was so hard understanding why I had attractions to women, I always suppressed it, pretending I was straight- but Lexa and Clarke made me see how woman on woman love can be beautiful. Not to mention that the whole cast list was gorgeous.

Bellamy's death was the stupidest thing in the show. There were thousands of better endings, several death endings without Clark pulling that trigger. Even his sister would be a better choice for that. Clark would NEVER pull that trigger.
That ALL FOR MY CHILD thing they forced upon her wasn't easy to digest.
The Last War could have been the best part of the show... but it was frustrating.

There’s no way of knowing where the story would have gone had Lincoln not died. Octavia wouldn’t have became Bloodraina or led the people to the valley. They would have all died on Earth. Same thing for Bellamy. If he lived there wouldn’t have been the last war for Raven to disprove and they wouldn’t have been able to transcend because the Shepherd would have ruined it.

They only killed him for octavias character development and for her to have more hate for more people

This show had so much meaning to it. So many lessons were taught. Every single factor in this show. The character development was incredible, people finding another that changes them for the great or good (like Clarke did for Lexa). The grieving between characters and getting over the hardships, learning from mistakes, continuing to push no matter how hard it gets. The drastic decisions. Don’t forget the representation of the lgbtq+ community. The whole show is amazing now that I come to think of it now that it’s over.

When Lexa told Clarke that her friends came back for her and that humans taught the higher beings so much already, she should have said "After all, there is more than just surviving" as a call back to Clarke/Lexa/Madi saying it in the past. Clarke's friends chose to live, instead of just surviving

She's genuinely been threw hell and back. Clarke deserved a better ending.

Not only Bellamy. Seeing that happy end, it made me cry for Jasper, who became so cynical he died for it, and for Monty, who couldn’t be there. Their friendship was my favorite part of the show. I just imagined them both high fiving one last time on that beach. When you feel :) and :( at the same time, that’s when life hits you. Many people didn’t like the 100, but for some reason I loved it just for the little things, such as the Monty-Jasper friendship or the Emori-Murphy romance, and also the weird cult like groups ( Jaha, Sanctum, ...) that made the universe feel more alive and mysterious.
I would have liked it if bellamy ws put into cryo sleep like bill and basically survived so he would have trancented.
Can you tell me where bellamy dies? I watched the series from season 1 to 6 and bellamy never dies, it ends it octavia being killed and disappearing into the anomoly not with bellamy dying. So can you please tell where i see this part or ending?

I love this video because it brings back the best yet hardest parts of the series. The music from the end of Sense8 is a brilliant touch.
We've seen many stupid deaths in the series, like: Wells, Lincoln, Lexa, Sean, Kane and last, Bellamy(Those are the ones I remember), Gaia almost left too. Most of them had some problems that were disrupting their work in the series, be it schedule problems, be it personal problems or problems with Jason, yeah. And we totally can understand that, because, they're humans, and they have problems so as we have. But, it's extremely sad to see the impacts of the real life choices on the fiction, because Clarke would NEVER kill Bellamy like that, never; she'd try everything to garantee his life, then, it's quite obvious that Bob Morley was dealing with some personal problems, or something with Jason. That is such a sad thing, a really sad thing, because Bellamy stayed until the 7th season to die that way. It's unbelievable doing that to Clarke's and Bellamy's characters. And how could Madi forgo living with Clarke because there aren't children of her age there? I don't know man. It's compreehensible, but It was weird. So, definitely I am thankful to this series, and I am happy to see they've gotten happy endings. However... They already did a fanciful plot in the end, they at least could do reasonable things, not like that. Well, whatever. I'll miss The 100 forever. I loved to be able to see Lexa again, even if wasn't her.
I totally agree with u...i really felt bad seeing bellamy die like that after all the seasons he came through..he was harsh in the begining and then he turned so sweet that its too harsh of clark to kill him....
The only "stupid" death was Bellamy, because it didn't have any consequences. When Lincoln died, Octavia became strong. Wells die by revenge, even it was his father action. ETC.
We have to accept that sometimes, heroes must dies... when a show never kill them, it's too much predictible and too "nice".
Bosmer Bosmer The only?? Man, I don’t know about the Wells’ actor, but Lexa, Sean, Lincoln and Bellamy left the series due to their own problems. How can you say that Lexa’s death was ok? It doesn’t even make sense she dies like that. The best “adapted” death was Lincoln’s. But you can feel that wasn’t his time to die, but they could fit it nicely. But about the others, no man. When finally Raven find a nice guy to her, he dies in a radiation field. WTF.
Nah you just dont like your faves dying lincoln died for his people how is not a great way to end and it also did wonders for Octavia character development, Luna Along with finn represented the point of no return and how far a person can be pushed. Lexa being short was put of nowhere but ig you took time to actually analyse the story it fit within the context it also did wonders for clarke character as well it helped us find out more about the flame and how to stop allie. Lexa was never forgotten by Clarke. If you only focused on the story and understand this is a story driven show and no character is safe you will see how great these deaths were done. But I dont think you can see outside one view, you're annoyed your fav characters died.
And also best believe that clarke would definetly kill Bellamy for madi. The Clarke before madi would not kill bellamy the Clarke after madi most definetly would. She tried to do it once already in s5 and at that point I would say clarke was in the wrong madi wasnt in immediate danger and she said it was a big regret. However this is a brainwashed bellamy and it this point madi life was in immediate danger as we saw they were not gonna stop to get her. And if you dont think that brainwashed Bellamy would not KILL madi or watch her die to get the code, then I dont know what to say. Clarke spent 6 years with madi longer than she has spent with anyone on the show. Daughter or best friend. Yeah not to difficult.

Clarke killing Bellamy at the end just doesn’t sit right. Bellamy deserved to enjoy that ending with them all. To see MURPHY out of the original 100 make it to the end just amazes me. I surely thought he’d die within the first 2 seasons but he was the one who stuck out to me. It was a damn good show. Hate to see it gone too soon. MAY WE MEET AGAIN!!

this ending was crap. As for Bellamy no matter how much we liked him , I think the show runner hated him. From the start , because he's gullable and weak. I hated the all last season.
