  • In Living History today, Agness Nandutu speaks to the former Deputy Inspector General of Police Julius Odwee, who is concerned about reviving the past glory of the Uganda Police force. The retired senior police officer says one of the first things that need to done is to divorce the police from the army. Odwee believes that the militarisation of the police has led to an erosion of professionalism in the force.
