I'm not sure where to ask this, so I'll just ask here. Why do some people put the "feat. [artist/vocalist]" part in the song title and not alongside the main artists of the track? They should be part of the artist title and not the song title, no?

I think it's supposed to be like the distinguisher so you realize who's doing the vocals. Ft. Voicians, ft. Laura Brehm, ft. Veela, and so on. If their names were directly beside the main artists, then the vocalists could look like they took part in the actual composition and production. In my opinion the feat. system doesnt give the singers any less credit, in fact it might give more since I immediately know some sick vocals are coming up if I see "ft. Voicians" in the song title :D
@@SpikedZenMain I think they should be part of the artist title because they were a part of the original composition, whether they are the vocalist or a guest artist. Artists appearing in the song title are a modification of the original composition after the fact, such as appending ([Artist] Remix). This is why I think it doesn't make sense to put "feat. [artist/vocalist]" in the song title.
