Well I Robert is extremely take also but I prefer his more mature films he deserved his Oscar for playing Charlie Chaplin he's a superstar because of Marvel and Iron Man instead though. Makes me recall another film he was in Goodnight and Goodluck with the famous speech about if the media is only used for entertainment purposes the TV is no more than lights in a box. I suppose at least Oppenheimer is a historical and education endeavour compared to Cillian just being in a Nolan Batman film for entertainment purposes.

And why did you think you needed to? What is the benefit of continually bringing up every negative thing that happened in his past, instead of looking at what he's doing in his life currently? Is that what you would like if you were in his place?
@@dasupertramp5855 Downey is a complex man who has overcome much that plagued him for years. I think the contrast is admirable. More to the point, some of his best acting 🎭 was during those conflicted years. His role on Ally McBeal remains my favorite of that series. Only know the backstory because he talked about it a few years ago. He held himself accountable. Admirable.

Honestly, I am getting a bit tired of Robert Downey Jr. He conveys the image of a selfish, self-center, entitled actor to win an Oscar by default. I used to have a better opinion of him.

You don't seem to understand that he's making fun of himself. He should stop doing it. People who aren't familiar with him are getting the wrong impression. If you've watched this video and listened to Cillian, it's obvious that the man is very humble and generous. SAG just put out a video with Downey,DeFoe, and Brown discussing their films, watch that if you want to see what Downey's really like.
